Public House on Page Hill

Pretty disappointed with the food after seeing all the growing reviews we were left confused and grumpy. This place is way overpriced, but it is really nice with the view and events they hold. Maybe it's priced with the view. I'm usually forgiving when it comes to price to food but the baked haddock was so plain and simple, the flatbread was too doughy and not crispy at all. At least cook it so the bottom has some color! The scallops were good, albeit $34 for 4 small scallops is ridiculous. We probably won't be back, either increase the quality of the dishes to justify the price or lower the price.

That being said, the service was good, the drinks were good, the view is amazing, and they have a lot going on.

It was a great time at our sip and paint 🎨 class tonight. I would highly recommend it.

We arrived early and were able to have a perfectly prepared cocktail delivered to us on the lawn as we looked at sunset over the white mountains. We then went in for our dinner with the best waitress I’ve had in the past two years. Things started perfectly with Great oysters. That was followed by our artichoke appetizer, which was absolutely phenomenal. Our dinner was perfectly prepared and unbelievably tasty. We were lucky enough to say Room for dessert, which was perfect. We were there for our anniversary and it could not have been better. We love this restaurant and we will return shortly. It’s not good compared to New Hampshire. It is absolutely top-notch compared to everybody everywhere. two thumbs up for the chef.

This restaurant is perfect. Their view is unmatched, the inside is also beautiful, the food is delicious, the drinks are amazing, the service is impeccable and they are dog friendly outdoor. This is our favorite spot every time we visit the area.

Our daughter was married here 9-28-2024. We rented the house for two nights, held the rehearsal dinner at the Pub, the ceremony was across the street in the field and the reception in their hall. The facility was very well maintained and ready to go. The staff was great. Debra was wonderful to work with and John ran the event flawlessly. The great weather certainly was nice too. We couldn't be more pleased with everything! We received a lot of great feedback from our guests as well. Thank you for everything!!!!

Chairs are uncomfortable, service was slow and expensive. Food was very well made and drinks were great.

Very good food . The waitress made excellent recommendations on the best wine and for me the best beer to go with our dinner.

The view of Mt. Chocorua is spectacular and the grounds are beautiful and well maintained. This is a beautiful event location. Well enjoyed drinks on the deck but chose to eat inside. Our meals were average but my crème brûlée was awesome. Our waitress was pleasant but possibly had too many tables. Our wine didn’t arrive until we were almost finished our main course. Overall we weren’t impressed with our meal; average.

People come a distance to go for incredible Mt. Chocorua views stunning sunsets, very tasty food, a lovely accommodating wait staff and away from the buzz of North Conway.
If your lucky certain nights have entertainment and if you want an excellent Sunday brunch be sure to get there too! Reservations suggested and can be booked on line.
My visitor friends and family all love this place and you will see why and don't forget to book around sunset if you can.

Best spot for miles! Food is super high quality, service is friendly and prices are fair. Our new go to spot and place we bring all visitors to when they are in town. 10/10

Beautiful setting. No crowds. Great staff. Great menu and absolutely the best fish sandwich you'll ever have!!!
