We booked a private cocktail class with friends for my husband’s birthday. The class was held at the Lyceum and was amazing! They provided a charcuterie board for us to snack on while we learned about 3 whiskey cocktails (my husband’s favorite). Corrine was our instructor and did an awesome job. She taught us the history of whiskey and how to choose the right ingredients to make a good cocktail. After the class was over, Riley let everyone try a few samples of the different liquors, which was great. We all had a lot of fun and would definitely do it again!

It was enjoyable stopping here.they have some awesome products. I liked the venison infused liquor and the trout infused liquor was really different and great. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend checking out their products

Very impressive distillery producing quality products. Their tasting menu and service is excellent. The property is also beautiful. Very enjoyable visit and will definitely return. Thank you

In May of 2022, I paid a visit to Tamworth only to find it closed (guess I could/should have checked their hours), but I finally made it back this past July and couldn't have been more satisfied with the whiskey I sampled. Like other reviewers, I wish they offered (more) food (minus one star) and were open later, but I recognize the limitations of being a distillery in a small town. All in all, a great place to visit whenever I make my way to the region.

No food! That is why only 4 stars but otherwise, worth the visit. Great place to do some tastings and then walk down the block to a bakery that serves lunch and sweet's.

Stopped on recommendation of a friend. Very nice place! Clean and seating available outback by a stream. Unfortunately do to a recent surgery I didn't want to chance navigating the hill but hostess (Unfortunately forgot her name but it was Friday September 20th) was very helpful and got me a bar stool to sit. We sampled a few cocktails and a few shots and brought a few bottles home along with a recipe book. Definitely wkrth stopping if you are in area and we will be returning!

This place is great. Just stop by and enjoy yourself. You won't be sorry. Make sure to walk down to the river with a cocktail or flight and sit in a chair and unwind a bit. It's heaven.

Tamworth Distilling is an exquisite gem nestled by the river. Bonus dog friendly! See Lily for proof. The picturesque setting adds to the charm of this establishment.During our visit, we indulged in two crafted mixed cocktails. To truly appreciate the artistry of Tamworth Distilling, we opted for the flight sample of their distilled products. The array of spirits on offer showcased their dedication to quality and craftsmanship. Our visit to Tamworth Distilling was a delightful journey into the world of exceptional spirits in an enchanting riverside locale.

Beautiful location, great place to sample by the brook. Tastings were solid, in time good competition for New York bourbon but a ways to to meet Kentucky. Disappointed, prices weren't clearly posted. Paid $100 for their 7 year bourbon. Although Bottled in Bond, widely overpriced. Didn't want to embarrass lovely staff with pricing. Bought it, will drink it but not a find.

Nice place. Cute little town area. Service was friendly and prompt. No food is served just alcohol. Tastings were good where you could choose one of their selections or craft your own.We had a little bit of sticker shock when we grabbed two bottles that we tried that we really liked. Definitely not cheap but definitely good tasting. Outside area has seating near the river, which was pretty. I would come back, but ask about pricing before deciding to purchase anything.

Just OK spirits and horrible service. We arrived about 2 hours before closing. There were 2 servers at the tasting table and two groups of about 5-7 people each. Not another soul in the place. We were ignored for 30 minutes before someone came over, clearly feeling like she was doing us a favor be even acknowledging us. We tried pretty much everything and left with a few bottles. I'm not really sure what all the hype is about. There's nothing negative to say really. The spirits are OK but not great, and they seem to be pretty pleased with themselves, but not so much pleased with you for coming there. Didn't feel welcomed, wasn't wowed. solid passing grade, nothing more, nothing less

Beautiful and fantastic place to visit. Very very expensive however to purchase anything or do an extensive tasting. As long as you’re prepared for sticker shock it’s a wonderful place to visit anytime.

Nice design of the small town distillery. I enjoyed cordial & barrel age whiskey tasting by the beautiful creek.

This is an awesome little place! You can do a flight tasting or get premixed cocktails to enjoy on the premises. The day we were there, a food truck was parked out front so you could get your lunch as well and make an afternoon of it. They have a beautiful riverfront area out back where you can relax and enjoy your drinks. They have a really wide range of products, so there is something for everyone. Definitely worth checking out!
