We got some delicious pastries. I got a day old sandwich which was probably good the day before, flavors were excellent, texture of the bread not great. Good coffee. Friendly staff although a little uncoordinated. Would recommend.
Parking: There are about half a dozen spots right in front

I wanted to be giving this bakery/cafe 5 stars across the board but I'd be lying if I said service was good. I started to place my order, no hello or smile, and could immediately tell the young lady was struggling with finding the cookies on her screen. I kept assuring her, no rush, I said it twice. I added in a mocha latte and a loaf of their awesome looking bread. I got the last loaf of whole wheat sourdough bread. The rep asked if I'd like it sliced and I was immediately impressed because so many bread shops up north do not have the bread slicer. I paid for my order. She handed me the bread she had sliced and I noticed it was just slid into a paper bag, not plastic. Another couple had stepped up so I waited off to the side. I did see the second rep there also slice a loaf and it got slid into a plastic bag to keep it fresh. In the paper bag, air getting at it, by the time I get back to the Boston area that night I knew it would already be getting hard. I asked the second rep if she could put mine in plastic and explained it wasn't getting used until the next day. She ended up sticking the paper bag into a plastic bag and tied it. At $8.00 a loaf, sorry not acceptable. If any readers think I'm being too fussy, let me just say a loaf at that price for me is a treat. And my family owned a bakery for over 50 years. Bread without all those stabilizers/preserves gets steal quickly if you don't take measures to keep as much air out as possible. When I got home that night I wanted to try a slice. I'm not sure if the blades on their slicer are full or if it's a learning curve with the rep who sliced it. The slices were not cut through, and top and bottom crust pulled away from center making it impossible to use for sandwiches. Please see picture. Okay on a positive note, the lady who handed me my beverage was very friendly, which made up for the lack of a greeting or even a thank you from the person who waited on me. Their location is amazing with the back deck over looking the beautiful river. Awesome place to enjoy your book or just listening to nature at it's best. The latte was tasty, their homemade mocha was excellent. Their cookies are simply Heaven. I'm hoping this was just an off day for the rep who waited on me. If it wasn't she's in the wrong field. When you make that drive to get away from the city, and walk into a small bakery, where reviews for the most part are great, you'd like to get that full experience with no regrets. I'll give them another try. Again, everyone has off days, and with it being tough to find good employees, I empathethise completely because we've been there.

VEGANS AVOID AT ALL COSTS. So this place is cute but selection was not it for vegans or those with egg allergies. As someone vegan, it’s hard to find options where you go. But this place took it to another level. Like most places they up charge on veganism because they can. I got one of these balls for 3 dollars + tax and was completely baffled. I thought it would come with at least 2 or even 3, but nope just 1! Like guys, it’s kinda a joke why even bother selling these? It literally tasted like rabbit food. Just don’t have any vegan/egg free options at this point. They had a proper and well priced election for everyone else so it’s obvious it’s just to make money off the vegan label. Never coming back here again. Definitely check out the station in Conway as it’s actually the opposite of this joke.

Especially enjoyed the croissants!!! Our mocha lattes were delicious! they make their own chocolate. Everything we ordered was super scrumptious and made with love! And, the atmosphere is lovely including the exposed tin ceiling. The staff are so cheery and welcoming. Thank you for a wonderful cafe experience. Worth our 45 minute drive.

Worst most boring chai tea we’ve ever had. Sandwiches were okay but nothing special. The chocolate croissant was just bread not a layered pastry. Seating unavailable despite spacious room but lack of tables and chairs. Not going back.
delicious baked goods, good coffee, pretty set up
BAD Croissants. I judge all bakeries by their croissants. See other reviews saying croissants are good. So sad people don’t know the difference. They are a pastry travesty.Consistency of frozen croissants. Compensating for this is the the bread, coffee, and ambiance, which makes this a 4 start stop.Hope this place learns how to make a real croissant and it would be top notch.
Cute spot with good coffee! I got an iced maple latte and loved it. I also got a breakfast croissant and it was delicious!
Amazing coffee and croissants and friendly staff. There’s a super cute outdoor seating area by the river. We’ll be back for sure!
