Had Friday Night takeout of dual prime rib dinners and it was on point. Never eaten at this the restaurant before but have driven by many times, was very happy with the takeout meal! Will definitely come back.

We recently hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner and Welcome Party at Dox and could not have been more pleased with the experience. From start to finish, the entire evening was absolutely perfect, and it truly set a magical tone for our wedding weekend.
Michele and the entire Dox staff deserve immense credit for their professionalism and impeccable service. A special shout out to Taylor who did a fantastic job and was able to manage such a large group, flawlessly, ensuring every one of our guests was taken care of and had a wonderful time.
The food was spectacular. All our guests were incredibly impressed with the menu selections, the high quality of the ingredients, and how perfectly each dish was prepared. We couldn’t imagine having a better meal in the lakes region.
The setting was just perfect. We were able to sit outside which matched the vibe we wanted for our lake wedding. We even enjoyed some live music, which added to the fantastic atmosphere without being too loud.
Thank you, Dox, for providing such a memorable and stress-free event. Our family and friends are still raving about the beautiful evening. We are so grateful we chose you to start our celebration!

3.0 maybe a 3.5 at best. Small parking lot, which is fine unless it’s busy. Not much of a water view just a small area where there are docked boats but it does have a pretty outside setting. Cool bar. I knew we were doomed when our zero percentage personality of a waitress showed up. Nice selection of drinks. I eat all over and typically don’t care about pricing. However, if I pay $20 for a hamburger I expect fries as a bonus not some up charge to substitute overdone kettle chips or Cole slaw. Chicken tenders were very dry. We ordered the apple and beet salad that never came with apples (see picture). It was delicious though and very light on the dressing so be sure to ask for more on the side. The chicken ranch sandwich was average. Best meal was my dox burger, which I would have again but never will since I’m not returning. We would have tried dessert but I just wanted to get out of there after waiting forever for the waitress. I like that you pay at the table like you do in Canada or Europe but she never came back with my receipt so, inconveniently, I had to stop by the hostess stand to obtain my receipt.

Why? Because the food and service are exceptional and you can dock your boat in the back.

I was at Dox on winnisquam last Friday and I have to say it was disgusting!!! My fork still had food on it so I asked for another and they were so snotty about it. Then when I looked there was a big ole FLY fried up with my French fries and I told them I'm not eating that and the bartender with dark hair gave me such an attitude and started slamming stuff around..like who wants FLIES in their fries?!! I know I don't. This place is disgusting and the bar smells like an old musty closet..and the tiny bar FLIES are everywhere too..I found them in my hair when I got home. Needless to say I left with an empty stomach and I will never EVER go back. Absolutely disgusting. I noticed when I left the back door was open so maybe that's why it's infested with FLIES. I'd leave no stars but not an option. Don't eat here unless you like your fries with a side of FLIES. or put on bug spray before you go in 🤷♀️
