We stopped in for Sunday brunch. Our server was very efficient, pleasant and accommodating. We were very satisfied with the preparation time and serving size..in general the entire meal. We were a party of four and we chose a high top table. Future visits of a party of 3 or more would be to choose a booth.

We tried the Dox for the first time and it was excellent! The food is great and the service was top notch. Definitely recommend this place and will be back soon. They even have a lower bar for wheelchair access. Win win

First visit today, we were underwhelmed. We were only informed of the appetizer special, which we got, (no dinner specials mentioned until we heard them offered at the table beside us after we had already ordered). Jalapeño bacon tots were under crisped, cheese was not melted, needed more topping. I got shaved steak tacos, the tortillas were barely warm/toasted, steak had mostly gristle bites and lacked flavor, I never add salt to my food but had to, maybe needs a sauce offered with it. I could not eat them all because it just wasn’t good. My husband got the hangover burger which was sufficient but the fries were pretty similar to the frozen shoestring fries I make at home. I had higher hopes for this great space.

Our fourth time eating here and it was not as good as previously. We had a bad experience and the food was just o.k.
I recommend you stay away from the lobster corn chowder. It was awful and they eventually brought it out after we had finished eating our meals. The servers only response was..."is it edible". This is a sign of poor management.
Im hoping this is not a sign of a slump or down turn in the quality because we do like this place.

It's a great place to eat,but not a cheap one. But the food is excellent! My girlfriend and I both had lobster macaroni, and cheese, but ee had a glass of water and nothing else for desert! It came out to $64 dollars, plus a $20 tip for a total of $84 dollars! The prime rib was $40 Dollars a plate just in case you were wondering! And drinks and everything else is extra! Plus they have outside dinning as well as heaters on cool nights!

OMG the sesame crusted ahi tuna…….. And the service from Ella was perfect. Wish the live music was not so loud but what can you do.

Food was delicious. Wife’s burger was fantastic my prime rib was overcooked but still delicious. Drinks were good. Sampled the wife’s and they all had a decent flavor and not over flavored so you couldn’t taste the alcohol. Service seemed a little slower than I’d have liked but I can be impatient so don’t want to put them down on that. Great place definitely try them if you’re in the area.

Parking: Parking lot is tight. Glad we had the suv and not my truck.

This place was the worst place I’ve gone too. People barely came to our table. The staff were rude. They treat their employees awful. I know so many people who work there and this is the worst company to work for. Shame on you.

Parking: Parking sucks!

Nice spot on the main drag going by Winnisquam. Had a glass of reisling while enjoying some live acoustic music. Staff was nice. It was a pleasant experience and it's always good to be near the lake.

My friend had about 25 guests join for lunch at the Dox. Overall, the service was good for the amount of people. It was a cute space and the menu had a good selection.

The only downside we encountered was the rice on the tuna salad bowl. I would not recommend the cold, crunchy, almost uncooked rice. Though upside the ravioli was delicious! I also enjoyed my apple cider mimosa. 2 entrees and 6 drinks after tip was $175- kinda pricey but expected.

Overall the party was happy and we were thankful they split the checks for us!

Lobster Mac nd. Geese was amazing. Shrimp ta o’s too. Whew we’re amazed T the amount of lobster meat in the meal. Fun place with good music (live). Parking isn’t easy during the busy periods so be prepared for circling. Well worth the wait though

Dietary restrictions: Have good gf options.
