Untraditional start as you order food in the "gift shoppe" portion and take your cup with you for your coffee/tea. Meal is excellent and service is also very fast. Atmosphere is nostalgic and cozy. Great place to eat.
We had a great experience getting breakfast while driving home. Right there on RTE 16 NH. Order when you walk in and sit in such a cool traditional American diner. You won't find many in the U.S. anymore. They do a great job of maintaining it and keeping the place very clean. The food came almost as soon as we got our seats after getting our coffee and tea. They got rid of their waitstaff. You order at the counter and the drinks are self-serve. Food is fine. I don't know; it's not the same. Coming here used to be like going back into the 1950s, now it's just part of the post-captialism wasteland. Very impersonal and cold experience. I wish them the best and hope they can focus more on bringing the vibes back.
