Generals Sports Bar and Grill

We were passing through town and found this gem. There werent many options, so we stopped at this typical-looking sports bar. I wished that it wasn't raining so we could eat outdoors on the deck. Inside, the bar was filled with interesting sports memorabilia. The menu was a typical pub menu. The food surprised the heck out of us! The pizza and wings were some of the best we've ever eaten. So many sauce options! The staff were very kind and courteous. You should stop and check it out for yourself!

It's a sports bar with meh food. The staff was attentive and fun.

What a terrible burger. Soggy bottom cold top. Wow this place is inconsistent. Last time 5 stars. This time food was not eatable. Waitress was nice its not her fault.

Perfect pit stop on our travels! The food is good and the atmosphere is chill!

Kid-friendliness: While they don’t have a kids menu, they are welcoming to kids.

Parking: Spots in the front and on the side. The back is another business so I’m unsure which spots can be used for the restaurant.

Buffalo wings good but what I consider "best of new Hampshire"

First time ordered a Cowboy Burger. Phenomenal. Great sauce. Perfectly cooked medium burger . Fries were great too. Wednesday lunch A+

Best service anywhere. Great casual restaurant atmosphere. We did not like the food at all and we got a variety of dishes. The restaurant is in a separate room from the bar so I didn't feel uncomfortable bringing my young son there. If you want a great and comfortable country bar, this is your place. I would go back but not for the food.

Kid-friendliness: There is a small kid menu.

Stopped for lunch burger and Rueben sandwich done wheel tatortots also delicious staff friendly and service was fast.

Kitchen was EXTREMELY slow, while very few diners. Ordered a pizza and it took about an hour. Pizza was just OK.

After driving by 210 times, the 211th i stopped !Good food, great service. Will be sure to stop more often now

I'd give this place ten stars, but it only goes up to 5. The waitstaff today was so friendly he even gave me curbside service. The Buffalo chicken dip is beyond heaven as well as their hand cut fries. If you catch a day when they have the chicken pot pie, make sure to grab one to go as well. I come here weekly and don't plan to ever stop.

Enjoyed a few beers, tried the Carolina Reaper Wings. I was shocked to realize I didn't even break a sweat, I don't know if they mixed up the sauces that night, but they were still tasty!I enjoyed the snakebite burger which was loaded with jalapenos', bbq sauce, and I think onion rings? It was cooked medium and was delicious.Bar tender was very nice, and made you feel welcome(I think she said she was the owners daughter). Anyways, I will be back at some point!

Haddock was awesome but did not come with tartar sauce,,,chicken tenders were perfect fries were a bit soggy but maybe the fries were soggy cause I got this dish to go and when we got home the fries were not crispy enough maybe cause the steam in the container made them mushy... probably be good if you eat them there though ...definitely will be back for other dishes..
