Stark House Tavern, a local watering hole, offers a variety of options for different diets. The buffalo chicken wrap and chicken sandwich are praised for being delicious, with freshly cut fries as a side. Vegetarian options such as salads are available. The "North of the Border" tots are immaculate, mashed potatoes in a shell of deliciousness, smothered in gravy and cheese curds. Burgers are perfect. Wings were definitely fresh, not frozen, buffalo sauce had a really nice tang. The restaurant is kid-friendly, providing crayons and coloring papers for entertainment. It is wheelchair accessible on the first floor. The service is known to be prompt and kind, and servers are super nice. The on-tap beer selection is wide and interesting, with a good selection of Stouts, Porters and IPAs. However, there have been some inconsistencies with the quality of the fries, and the chicken was a little dry. The place only has seven tables in the main dining room, with hard chairs, and is very loud. The restaurant is a suitable place to stop by.
