Bar and appetizers are okay. If you plan on staying here avoid the morning eggs…

My husband and I stayed at the hotel due to an extended power outage in our town. We checked into the hotel and ran into friends from our town doing the same. We met for drinks in the bar and it was fine. We had the breakfast buffet in the morning and it offered all of the basics. It was quick and hot.

Had a GREAT breakfast in the Garden Court in the Fireside Inn in West Lebanon early in the morning on the next to the last Tuesday in October 2018. GREAT waitress Tammy did a LOT to help me with my special dietary needs; she made my first meal of the day so much more than other self-serve breakfast buffets where you are mostly on your own to fend for yourself. Thank you, Tammy, you are a true professional hospitality provider--and a very nice lady. Shawn Blanchard, General Manager, hires great people who do a lot to make customers love this place. . Day started off right with a GREAT cup of coffee poured at my table by Tammy. The buffet was the buffet as so many buffets are. Everything was good, hot stuff was hot and cold stuff was cold, everything was clean and fresh, every table was perfectly set up with cloth napkins and real silverware!!! The dining room itself is ringed with lighted trees giving the whole place a magical ambiance. Wow! . What a great way to start off another day on the road. I look forward to another breakfast at the Court next time I am staying in the Inn. Would be nice to see you here, too, then. Tell Tammy and the other people you meet here that you read about them on Trip Advisor. . Why composing this on the Inn's guest computer, I met Joe, Inn maintenance who was putting another chunk of hardwood on the fire in the fireplace. We talked hard woods for a while before he had to get back to work. Thank you, Joe, for taking a moment to interface with a guest in your GREAT hotel.

Not good. Pizza was on the same taste and quality level as freezer pizza. We ordered room service and it was delivered without plates nor napkins, which was odd and unfortunate but the sad part is the women who delivered said shed return and then never did. Sucks to be forced to pay a tip of 18% gratuity for this. Or pay anything at all...

This restaurant gets the highest score possible for its physical environment. There are trees with white lights, plants everywhere, multiple ponds with fish and turtles, rocks, and a rock wall fountain. The most relaxing place to eat I have ever visited. The free breakfast is superior to most you will find both in quality and quantity. There are both waffle makers but also a machine for pancakes. Push 1 button and in about a minute you will be delivered 2 fluffy great tasting pancakes. Eggs bacon sausage fruit biscuits and gravy variety of breads and a toaster machine round out the service. Dinner is also served but not free. Food is of high quality and cooked well. The choices are limited, however you will find something for your taste. Well worth a visit or more.

You know the old saying - you get what you pay for? Here it is absolutely true. Breakfast is free with your room at the hotel. Go out instead, unless all you want is coffee and actually they have complimentary coffee in the lobby so don't even bother. The food is rubber steamed eggs and absolutely awful cold biscuits that you can cover in tepid temperature gray sausage gravy. I thought I spotted an out when I saw the tortilla holder with some salsa toppings. When I opened the container the tortillas were ice cold, straight from the refrigerator. I asked the person refilling the coffee how I could warm the tortillas and she told me "Put them in the microwave." When I asked where the microwave was she told me it was in my room. Not happening. As the old joke goes, the food is just awful but it's all you can eat, so there's plenty of it. For anyone into quantity not quality, this place will work. The place was clean though.

The food was bland, my shepherd's pie was overcooked on the edge and lacked seasoning. Portions were too large. My friend ended up getting sick the next day from his meal. The locals know best, the Irish pub next door was hopping and this place was dead (we were the only ones - we only tried it because we were tired and didn't want to be in the car anymore). Our waitress had to be asked to fill our glasses several times. Disappointing!!!

The buffet had scrambled eggs, bacon, cold hash and something unknown for breakfast. No bagels, muffins, toast, omelets or sausage. This was the low low price of $23.95 per person. Lunch was a little better selection. Had corn chowder which was also cold. Desert was very limited to a few cakes and pies. You have known better after trying their weekend buffet once before.
