Friendly atmosphere and excellent wine selection
We held a bridal shower at the Summit today. It was a lovely venue and the staff were wonderful to work with. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. I highly recommend using them for your next event!!
We visited Sept, 2024 to discuss an event for May, 2025. We had a delightful visit with Judy, who showed us around. Pretty setting, charming winery, & we wanted to book. We were told to fill out the form online & they would go from there, so that's what we did. We received one communication that spoke about how busy they had been with harvest & foliage season. After that we were completely ghosted. We made several attempts over a few months to confirm the date, obtain a contract, pay a deposit, & have a venue. Never a response. We found another venue that was great & probably worked better. If you are planning an event there, our advice is to move on quickly if you can't get them to respond to you. We were so disappointed with the lack of professionalism.
First time in and Donna was lovely. We will absolutely be stopping back in next the time we are heading to or from Massachusetts.
When we stopped by there was a crafts fair and the wares were fun to look though.
They are working on setting up a food truck, but they have a small selection of snacks, but you can bring in your own food.
The wine ✅ the service ✅. Thank you.
Summit is the best winery in Nee Hampshire…. And probably in all the north east!!
Amazing wine! Fabulous staff!! And a gorgeous location!!
It doesn’t get any better than here!!
Thanks!!!
Summit Winery absolutely exceedes my expectations! Nestled in the picturesque hills of Westmoreland, this family-owned winery offers both stunning views and exceptional wines.
The tasting room is warm and inviting with large windows that showcase the beautiful vineyard and surrounding mountains. I was greeted by knowledgeable staff who guided me through their impressive selection of wines, sharing interesting details about each varietal and their unique winemaking process.
Their signature Cabernet Franc was outstanding - perfectly balanced with notes of dark cherry and a smooth finish. I was also pleasantly surprised by their crisp and refreshing Riesling that captured the distinctive character of New Hampshire's terroir. What truly sets Summit apart is their genuine hospitality. The owners were on-site during my visit and took time to chat about their passion for winemaking in New Hampshire's climate. They've created not just great wines but a wonderful atmosphere that makes you want to linger.
Don't miss their weekend events featuring local musicians and food pairings! Summit Winery is definitely worth a detour if you're anywhere in the Monadnock Region - I'll certainly be back on my next trip through the area.
I highly recommend Summit winery! The staff was super friendly and welcoming. They have a wide variety of wines, a beautiful view, and a cozy atmosphere. Their wine tasting deal is amazing, and if you buy a bottle of wine to take home, you get a free tasting. It’s definitely the best winery in the area! I definitely be back!
We absolutely love Summit Winery! Great atmosphere, good selection of wines and the owners are just the kindest people. Go sit on their beautiful deck, enjoy the view and enjoy a glass or sip inside in a relaxing chair with a good book. Did I mention that Summit is dog friendly?! We bring our little Shih Tzu, Summit with us and he’s always welcome! Highly recommend!!
Went on the tour, love the wine

A comfortable tasting room with some nice local wines. It's a challenge to make good wine - especially on the Eastcoast with grape that need to be brought in but Darren, the wine maker, knows how to do it. The tasting fee is waived if you purchase a bottle, and I'm betting you won't have a problem doing that.
Love the "cheers" style bar and great wine!
A nice, cozy winery. Perfect for a winter afternoon after snowshoeing. The wines were fine,
Stopped in after skiing to try, and ultimately, buy some wine. Great array of well done wines. Tasting notes were spot on. Brought home the Pinot Noir and Malbec. Definitely worth a visit when in the area.
We stopped here as part of the Jingle Bells event. Cozy space with a fantastic view of the mountains. We sat at the bar and had a wine tasting. We enjoyed many of them and purchased a couple bottles to take home. There was a unique craft event going on in the open space of the winery. Some cute finds. We'll definitely return. Not far from Keene.
