My husband and I went here for our anniversary dinner and we had an amazing time. The food was incredible. We both had filet which was very flavorful. We had horseradish mashed potatoes and bacon balsamic brussels sprouts. Capped it all off with cake for dessert. Every bite was divine. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. All in all this is a perfect venue for special occasions.

No exaggeration, these were the worst steak(s) we have ever eaten at an upscale restaurant - ever. This was my second visit after a so-so first time with an OK lamb chop, and my wife had resisted my suggestion to try it again after she had a tasteless burger for lunch there with my daughter some time ago. I convinced her to try one more time and frankly, last night’s experience was truly stunning in how absolutely horrible the quality of steaks were. My wife ordered the filet mignon cooked medium-rare amd it came out borderline over cooked. She told me it tasted like sawdust and I thought she was exaggerating. I ordered the $60 NY Sirloin steak to be cooked medium rare. The steak I got was overdone which I would have accepted if it was cooked more on the “medium” side of medium-rare, but this one was cooked to medium-well. So I asked for another one which waitress quickly exchanged. What she brought back was a larger, but extremely rare steak. I assumed that they wanted to give me a bigger steak for my troubles and I wasn’t going to complain again about the fact that it was under cooked. Then I bit into it. This was a tough, grisly and tasteless piece of meat that I could not eat. I then tried my wife’s fillet and agreed that it too was truly dry and tasteless. I sincerely have no idea how any restaurant could find such horrible quality meat let alone have the gall to put it on the menu for $60. In fairness, the waitress offered to take the Sirloin off of the bill, but I declined, paid the bill and left the steak behind. It is a shame that this place is as bad as it is because I believe Windham could support a decent chip house, but this place isn’t it by a long shot. I suspect this restaurant will be out of business by spring if they are lucky.

Excellent food. Atmosphere does not match the prices. It was like dining in a bar.

Just went (four of us) and really enjoyed the food - it was great, as was our server. I rated 4 stars instead of 5 due to the overall ambiance. There are a couple pictures of food that don’t really fit the overall expectation when you are in a place where prices correlate to fine dining. Also I think it may benefit from a divider or two to make the place seem a bit cozier. The salads were enormous, the calamari tasty, seafood casserole, shrimp, onion soup - all delicious! My husband made a special request to have his steak cooked (Pittsburgh style) and he said it was perfection. I love that Windham has a nice place right in town, I just wish that it had a more upscale atmosphere to match the food. A wall or half wall with a two way gas fireplace would be great - or even a water feature or something to make it u inquest would go a long way. We’ll be back, regardless, but hope over time they improve the diner’s experience.

I got the stuffed lobster and it was probably the best I've ever had. Good portions for everyone at the table as well. Prices are in line with any higher end steak or seafood house but not exorbitant. Waitress was very good and coming from MA the place isn't as far as it sounds being right off 93 in Wyndham. Took about 40 minutes from the city.

Had dinner at the bar on Sunday night. Place is over the top fabulous. And in a strip mall in Windham near Cobbetts pond.

We came back second day in a row for takeout because the food was so good. We only tried the appetizers. The quality of the prawns and the preparation are top notch. The coconut prawns were so good we had to make the second day order doubled. The calamari was also very good, so was the house salad. Its dressing was special. Our best wishes to the success of this restaurant.

This place is fantastic. I have been to Steak and Chop houses in many states some of which are listed on the top 10 in the country. Zachary's may not be listed but the food here is excellent and has exceeded many of the Steak houses I have ever been too. Drinks are great, Appetizers some are unique, and the steaks are just out of this world. Outstanding flavor and done exactly like you order them. Anything you order is going to be very good. This simple location maybe the best Steak and Chop House in New England and give many of the ones I have been too a real run for their money. Cannot wait to go again its that good.

Service was excellent even during this epidemic. Was calling from about 20 minutes away and food was just a couple minutes from being ready as requested. Definitely will come here again!

I started off with a cup of clam chowder. I counted one clam and the other were tiny minced pieces and one potato. The was no flavor and the broth was way too thick. I then hoped the seafood casserole was going to be better. It wasn’t!! It wasn’t even appealing to look at. It was seafood placed in a casserole dish with butter sprinkled barely with bread crumbs. The seafood was rubbery and barely edible. The Onion Rings were greasy and way under cooked. Very disappointed!!! I would had gotten a better meal at McDonalds and it wouldn’t of cost me 83 bucks for garbage.”

Service was friendly and prompt. Had an issue with the ice however as my sister and I had agreed it had a very strong aftertaste, she said soap I thought it tasted more like cleaner. Very offputting, and disappointing when you cant drink a water with your meal.

Small, inviting atmosphere with friendly staff. Delicious seafood.
