Just wanted to grab a coffee at a local shop. The vibe of the shop was both unfriendly and dated. As someone who’s worked in smaller coffee shops for years I understand that pace is a lot slower. But we weren’t even acknowledged when we walked through the doors. After ordering I genuinely felt like leaving and canceling my order.Overall go somewhere else.

Delicious muffins and the friendliest staff! It was such a nice atmosphere when I popped in. Clearly a community hub and locals favorite. The chai tea latte was very good although a bit sweet for me. Looking forward to returning and hanging out here.

So this is your classic small town coffee shop. Extremely mediocre coffee, always offered in some sort of sickly sweet flavor (chocolate brownie, turtle, etc). They have about 200 menu items, of which two or so are done well.In my dreams, the village bean would get a Marzocco, start buying beans from a local roasters and find a few high schoolers who actually care about coffee. Now I’d pay $6 for that kind of latte!

Definitely a cute place, but they made the drink right in front of me, and I think I just paid $6.75 for watery juice? It was good, just - wow, the price was unreasonable. It was the mango refresher. Just be aware that this is what you’re paying for. I’ll be looking for a cheaper coffee shop.

Very cute coffee shop. Has some novelty items like mugs, shirts and nice selection of snacks. The girl who helped me was very nice. I ordered a medium latte with almond milk and it was $8.00, and with a tip $9. it was a bit much... I’ve only paid that much for a coffee in NY. Starbucks isn’t even charging that. The latte was ok, generic almond milk, it was your average coffee shop late. I get trying to support small businesses but that’s quite a markup.

Village Bean is an excellent little coffee shop in Village Green of Windham on Route 111. The breakfast menu is quite limited but the breakfast sandwiches are most certainly better than those served on the other side of the Interstate next door to the Mobil station. When it comes to your “bean” you have many choices with plenty of made-to-go coffee types available as well as actual beans to take home and prepare yourself. The desert case is scrumptious and decadent. The muffins are fresh and delicious. Unique local handy work is fun to peruse while you are waiting for your order. Seating inside is very nice with a bar at the window, small tables, and relaxing, cushioned couches and chairs too. There is even outside seating available. Very much recommended.
