Bayside has always been a favorite in our family and would have deserved a 5 in a past, but I averaged it with a 3 from our latest experience. From my perspective, although they were understaffed, the food felt somewhat subpar. Also, we called for a reservation which they clearly said they don’t take. This made us come extra early to ensure we got a table. After 10 minutes from our arrival, there was a reservation sign placed on the table next to us. We would understand if you don’t do reservations, but you should treat all customers the same in these instances.

The salad bar is the bomb so much to choose from the nachos ( chili) are to die for the pizza is phenomenal if you like thin crust which I do I have never ever been disappointed with anything on the menu and the staff is wonderful the owner's are alway's around helping out it's a wonderful place ?

Downtown Wolfeboro was mobbed the day we visited. We had stopped into a restaurant in town, but they had no room and a long wait for a table. We took a walk a few minutes down the street and this spot was almost empty. Perfect. The building is located a bit off the road on a large parking lot. The building sits right on the water with a window wall facing the lake. As soon as you enter the building there is a big bar to the right and a dining area on the left. The bayside dining area is further into the restaurant. The decor is water themed, big and open. Restroom are at the end of the bar near the entrance. We arrived after the usual lunch time which may have accounted for the limited number of guests inside. Or perhaps no one thinks to walk away from the crowds? In any event, there were a few couples at the bar and another table full in the dining room. One waitress and the bartender as well as the manager were on staff. The waitress was friendly and we had a couple of laughs with her. We ordered a round of beverages while we perused the menu and when the drinks returned we were ready to order. The menu we received in the middle of the day was mostly 'bar food'. It didn't take too long for our food to arrive and everyone was satisfied with the quality and preparation. I ordered the quasadilla with shaved steak. It was cooked well, lots of melty cheese, diced pepper and a good amount of shaved steak. Although an app, I ordered it as my lunch and I took half of it home. This would be plenty as an app for four or more people. My SO ordered one of their daily special sandwiches and he very much enjoyed it. Plenty of meat and nice and cheesy. They have a pretty good craft beer menu and a full bar. The restaurant and restroom were clean and in good condition. Seriously, I'm not sure why everyone is waiting over an hour for pub food in town when they can walk around the corner and get a table for similar food right away. But in any event, if you don't have a plan for a specific meal somewhere else, take the walk and enjoy a break from the crowds here.

They turn off their phone without notice so it's a hit or miss if you will actually get through. Asked for pickles on 3 different entrees and got a total of literally 3 individual pickles. So 1 pickle on one, 2 pickles on another, and no pickles on the third. Not impressed. I'm sure there are places that offer similar items, prices and hopefully better service+quality.

Very good restaurant. Food was delicious except for the steak tips. Every dish that came out my wife and I raved about. Our waitress Meredith was very attentive to our needs. Definitely worth the trip if your in wolfeboro area.

Prices are a little hight but the food was outstanding! Especially the canonball burger! Delicious! Great service and a inviting place to be in!

We had a very good dining experience. The food was delicious. I had the steak tips salad and my husband had the haddock. Service was good. One woman was acting as hostess, waitress and bartender. The margarita was very good too.
