We ordered our wedding cake and cupcakes from From Scratch Baking Co. Katie was awesome to work with throughout the process. She was super helpful in answering any questions we had. Or cupcakes and cake came out absolutely stunning (and tasted great as well). I had other vendors telling me how beautiful they looked throughout the day. I wish I could have been able to thank her personally on the day of!

I’ve been getting cakes from this bakery since I came across it a couple of years ago. My daughter in law has celiac and says this is the best gluten free cake she’s ever had. I got cakes for her engagement party and wedding shower from From Scratch and got so many compliments from the guests, both for the taste as well as how pretty they were. Also, working with Katie was a pleasure since I wasn’t sure exactly how I wanted the shower cake to look but gave her some ideas and she came up with a beautiful design. I will definitely continue to make the 45 minute drive for this bakery 💜

Ordered a small wedding cake, 32 cupcakes, and cookies for our wedding. The cake was delicious. The cupcakes (especially the peanut butter frosting one) were amazing, only 2 left after the event. And the peanut butter cookies were the best cookies I’ve ever had. I would recommend for any event! Will probably get more next summer when we are up in Wolfeboro.

Our wedding cake from Katie at From Scratch Baking Co. was an absolute dream! We went with snickerdoodle cake paired with Italian buttercream, and it was the perfect balance of spice and sweet. Not only was it delicious, but it also held up beautifully in the summer heat, which was such a relief!
The tasting experience was also such a highlight. We loved the way they do their tastings, it was fun, easy, and really helped us narrow down the flavors we loved most. On the day of, the cake was just as stunning as it was tasty, and our guests raved about it all night.

If you're looking to get into their books, be prepared to wait a really long time for communication even though it says on their website that you need to book soon or you won't be able to get your order in. Trying to get everything together for a baby shower is already a hassle and you want good communication so everything can flow smoothly.

I come into this bakery once and a while when I want something truly delicious 😋 clean, professional, kind and great prices. Can't say enough good things about these yummy treats. My favorite thing is that you can taste the love and you can tell they are truly from scratch and not frozen fake stuff!
I worked with Katie for my September wedding in Meredith, NH to have a simple two-tiered cake and dessert table. From our initial call she was very helpful and patient in walking us through all her different dessert options and pricing. Early on I let her know we were looking to incorporate a figurine of our dog from Etsy on the cake and sent her a reference photo for styling the placement. Let me tell you the squeal of absolute delight I made upon first seeing our cake! She NAILED it!! It was exactly what I was hoping for.
We received plenty of compliments from guests on the dessert table as well and appreciated Katie's guidance on popular selections and reasonable quantities for party size. I was delighted that we received a box of leftover desserts given we had limited time to enjoy them ourselves day of. I will shamelessly admit we were enjoying those leftovers for over a month after our wedding...they kept extremely well and tasted just as good as they did the day of! Overall excellent quality and great service.

We got married in October 2024 and it was such a pleasure working with Katie from From Scratch Baking Co. What initially drew us in and set her bakery apart from others were all of the different allergy options she has for her desserts. This was super important to me as we had numerous guests with various allergies and I wanted to be sure we had desserts that everyone could enjoy. Before the wedding we did a To-Go box with various desserts we wanted to try and when I tell you that box barley made it home because my husband and I sat in the parking lot already trying everything! Sometimes when things are allergy friendly it can leave the dessert with a gritty texture and that was not the case here at all here everything was delicious!! Come the day of the wedding I provided all of my own stands and dessert ID cards but the bakery did an amazing job displaying all of the desserts it looked beautiful! Our wedding cake was absolutely to die for! We of course put it in the freezer for our one year anniversary and I know it will taste just as good as the day we got married! I could not recommend the bakery enough and would tell everyone and everyone to book with them!
