Service was mediocre, cost of food is reasonable, $16 for a glass of house Chard is not reasonable, 40 minute wait for food and they weren't busy, fish and chips, horrible. The haddock tasted like the oil it was cooked in and burnt and the chicken sandwich was no better.

I ordered an appetizer and dinner they came out together! I also ordered the most expensive dish on the menu, the Ribeye with potatoes, I don’t mind waiting for good food but when it was served it was not hot, I felt it was sitting out for awhile. The chef tried to make it right but I was already turned off.

Server was inattentive. We asked for lemon in our water but she didn’t include it. When we reminded her she brought one of us a lemon but not the other. The ribeye steak was fatty and tasteless. We had to ask for salt and pepper. We asked to split a Caesar salad and we had to remind her about it and then she didn’t bring plates. We didn’t have utensils or napkins till after we were served. She never checked on us once while we were eating. We had to ask another server to get her so we could have the bill. She never asked us if we wanted coffee or dessert. Poor service and mediocre food. We won’t be back.

I love the atmosphere and water views Garwood's offers tucked away, in a sense, but right in the heart of Wolfeboro center! I've always enjoyed my meals there with few exceptions. It's a wonderful spot.

The staff and atmosphere here are the stars of the establishment . The food wasn’t bad by any means but was just okay. Our server Hannah was very friendly and attentive to the table, she made the experience. We sat on the lower patio outside on a great day so that atmosphere with Hannah’s great svc made for a great time! I would definitely come back for the svc and a drink but would likely try somewhere else for food before coming back.
