Warm and friendly on a cold winter day, with awesome views of Lake Winnipesaukee. Doesn't hurt to have $1.00 oysters either. Highly reccomend!.

They haven't changed their menu or decor for about a century. Nothing remotely interesting for vegetarians and to call the service lackluster is being too nice. The only plus is the setting on the water, and apparently this is enough to draw in enough money to keep this place afloat. If you're looking for really good food and service, try somewhere else.

We were happy to find a place that had buck a shuck oysters close to home. The atmosphere is perfect. Cozy, classy, with a wide open view of the lake. The cocktails were amazing. Absolutely perfect. We didn't try much of the menu because we were gorging on oysters and tacos, but will be back soon to try the rest! Not sure how we missed this unassuming space. We've lived down the road for 20 years.

It has been a while since we visited here, and we were so delighted with our meal. Firstly, they have a nice choice of craft beers on tap. They have a daily special for an entree, and I chose that - absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. I would heartily recommend Garwood's. In the summer, it is very pleasant with outdoor seating overlooking the harbor in Lake Winnipausaukee.

The atmosphere was great but what we paid did not equate to quality food.

Pretty cool place! Stopped in for drinks and an appetizer with my husband on our anniversary. Specialty cocktails were delicious! And we shared the pot stickers(chefs kiss) The bartenders were very nice! We liked the atmosphere of the dark, calm, boat like interior. We will be back for sure!

Beautiful, clean, and they paid attention to details. No hazy, blinding LED lighting. Creative menu without getting too off the charts. The family owners work there. The hot chicken sandwich was delicious. We put this on the definitely repeat list!

Our waitress was extremely rude. When asked why something came with blue cheese, when specifically asked not to have it, she replied with "OK? You don't have to eat it" and then scoffed off. The portions for the Buffalo chicken were extremely small as well. 17 dollars for 6 chicken tenders from a subpar bar.

Get there early and sit out side! Friendly staff, very busy and the food and drinks were good. Try the Lake Winni Sunrise and fish & chips it comes in a small size.

Great location right on the lake. Nice place. My issue is the lobster bisque was watery and didn't have much lobster. I sat at the bar and the service was OK at best. Not very attentive.

We had lunch in early August at this restaurant serving traditional New England classics like lobster bisque and oyster Rockefeller in addition to more contemporary fare such as seared ahi tuna salad with sesame. Our first day in town, my wife and I of course went for the lobster rolls. As is to be expected in New England, the sandwich was stuffed to the gills with lobster meat. I like that it was not drowning in the creamy sauce so you could actually taste the lobster. My 6-year-old daughter loves the mac-and-cheese here, declaring it the best in the country. My son, a very picky eater, was very happy with the plain pasta. The staff was attentive and welcoming. We will definitely come back next time we’re visiting Wolfeboro.
