Since I can remember, Lydia's has been my favorite place to eat in town. And, though it is a deeply nostalgic experience for me, I am happy to report that the magic of a hot, fresh, bigger-than-your-head Lydia's blueberry pancake is not quelled by age.

Love this little takeout gem on Main Street in downtown Wolfeboro. The tables are teeny and few, but if you're lucky enough to get a spot outside on the small porch on a pretty day, you have a great perch for people watching and enjoying your meal. I always disliked spinach but their spinach salad topped with crispy, thin, pressed bacon made me a believer again. Never had a dish here that I didn't like. I had the plain French toast, not a lot of food but filling and tasted great! Paid 9.45, so a little pricey but not bad. Waited a long time for food but they only have a small kitchen.
