Delicious home made style food.
Great food
I'm a local, food was terrific, wait staff friendly/personal and know the business, satisfaction, delightful atmosphere is all that.
Sea food under cooked and had a bad aftertaste
Ordered the Fisherman's Platter to share with my Ma...portion was extremely large & amazingly inexpensive for what we ordered! Seafood is fresh as well! Recommend!
I really enjoyed my Rueben sandwich. This was my second visit to this wonderful pub. The onion rings are out of this world.
I'm looking forward to going back again soon.
Have been there twice. Awesome meals, both times!
Bangers and mash, Pub pie, Caesar salad, and Galway Shepherds Pie.
And can’t forget the incredible Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert. Flavors for everything were spot on! Our new favorite restaurant!
We got ice cream at the takeout window. Lots of selection from Gifford's.
Excellent food - my husband and I finally stopped to check out the restaurant and was very happy we did for dinner last night. All of the food was very tasty, good portions and the server was so attentive, friendly and helpful with the menu. Overall an excellent experience and will definitely tell family/friends and we will be back again.
This was my first time eating at this restaurant. My daughter loves the restaurant, and that's where she chose to go out to eat for her Birthday. The atmosphere was nice. It's not a 5 star, but I gave it 4 stars. There was a wide range of different meals or sides on the menu, you can order. I had the fried chicken sandwich with onion rings, instead of fries. I really enjoyed my meal. My mother got the American chop-suey, and she thought it was good. She couldn't finish her whole dish of it, so she took the rest home for leftovers. My children (that are ages 16, and 17 going onto 18 next month), both ordered different meals. They were both full by the end of their meals. EXCEPT, my Sweet 16 Birthday girl and I, had ice-cream for dessert ?! The service was a 4, because our waitress forgot 2 things we had asked for. But, I know that it is a very busy, and a somewhat stressful job. I was a waitress for awhile, when I was a bit younger. And, I completely understand how it is, and forgetting something someone asks for does happen. So, in my opinion she gets 4 stars for service. All in all, I would recommend this restaurant, if you're in the Wolfeboro area. They do have seafood, which i believe is what the restaurant is known for. So, if that is what you're craving, you should try this restaurant. I do NOT eat seafood, so i can't testify to it. The menu prices are expensive, but that is everywhere these days. I would go back to eat here again, if given the chance. I live in Maine, and my children live with their Dad, in Wolfeboro. l do go visit whenever I get the chance to. So this restaurant is going into my "mental list" of good places to eat!

Amazing food in a fun, laid back atmosphere. Exactly what we were looking for. The seafood was phenomenal, and our server, Rachel was absolutely wonderful.

Visited tonight while my son was at the school dance. I was a little hesitant based on reviews on TripAdvisor. I'm glad I went. My server, who seemed a little cold at first, turned out friendly. My food, I ordered the French Onion soup, it was fabulous. I love lots of cheese with just a little crouton, and this was exactly it. Delish! I ordered the seafood platter with onion rings. The seafood was plentiful (I have leftovers) cooked right, my only comment is I prefer a breading that's just a little lighter, but it was still delish. The onion rings are dry breaded, thin and just great! Overall, a great experience. Seating is a little uncomfortable, but the atmosphere is nice. Will return!!
