We really wanted to like Nolans as we are in Wolfeboro a lot, especially in the summer. Unfortunately, we will never go back. The service was incredibly slow, and we had to remind our waitress to bring our drinks when the food finally arrived. The meatloaf sub was awful - large, but all filler and so tasteless. The chicken Caesar wrap was better - lots of tender chicken. We ate in the bar area which was super loud, but we were seated at a table with a bench with a cushion that looked like it had been there for a couple of decades. Very dirty, and clouds of dust came up when we sat down. This place needs a lot of work on several fronts to be considered an enjoyable place to eat.

We had a couple of bowls of chowdah and a couple of salads. Fresh, delicious, and well-made. Staff were friendly, enthusiastic, and awesome. Pizza smelled great, and we look forward to trying it next time!

Food was good, but I’m very disappointed in the manager. Sundays they have $7 cheese, pepperoni or mushroom pizzas. We ordered a half pepperoni and they insisted they charge us $17.50. The manger and waitress agreed it was foolish to think we could order a cheese AND a pepperoni for $14 but yet and still, she charged us $17.50 for an half pepperoni pizza. They wouldn’t make it right. It’s not about the money, is the principle and the fact that the manager insisted there was nothing she could do. Why have a manager is that that is the case?Needless to say we will not be back, it’s too bad because the food wasn’t bad. Oh well.

The Brussel sprouts appetizer was beyond awesome, could have eaten the whole dish as was the roasted beet salad and artichoke dip. However, the Hawaiian pizza was actually not good, it was so soggy one could not pick it up. It tasted fine, but was not presentable at all. Just wanted you to know just in case someone else mentions it.

Old review: (Amazing seafood alfredo, bread, service and drinks!)Updated review:Phantom gourmet would scowl at this place! Do not be mistaken, this place is clearly another wonderful restaurant ruined by new ownership/management! I knew immediately when I got my usual order which consists of the clam chowder and chicken Alfredo. The chowder was disgusting and smelled like bad and oddly strong fishy clams with sour milk broth. Not fresh like usual or typical fishy, this was bad! I was shocked, still willing to look aside and gave the consideration maybe they were having an off night. But boy was I wrong! I waited over two hours for my app, our entrees were no where to be seen! Our waitress though could be seen chatting with a group of her friends for most of the time that we were there. I had to ask another waitress for our check! Then we have a cocky manager approach us with an attitude trying to pressure us to take our food that she said had been ready and sitting up front. Being significantly annoyed I said "NO TY" BECAUSE SHE WANTED TO CHARGE ME FOR THE COLD FOOD THAT HAD BEEN SITTING OUT FRONT WHILE OUR WAITRESS WAS CHATTING WITH FRIENDS!She kept explaining it was done and could be packaged up and she could ring me up. I insisted no because I wasn't paying for cold food. Not to mention when I asked for my bill I waited an additional significant amount of time for her to not come back with a to go container for our bread that I ended up having to go asking around for and waiting to check out!I received my bill for an overpriced garlic bread app I couldn't eat because it was meant to be eaten with my pasta and paid for my drink that had been made wrong that I had to wait to be corrected that came back to me with melted ice!I think it's pretty obvious judging by all of the other recent reviews since COVID that I am not the only one with the same issue! It's honestly a shame because I really loved this place! Just a heads up and this goes to management and this goes to the owner: when you have a customer that ordered an app to go with their food such as garlic bread and they do not get their entree, and they wait 2 hours to leave without eating, you do not insist on charging them for the for the garlic bread!!!!! That you didn't even offer a to-go container for! Especially when they explain to you that it was meant to go with their dinner and that they didn't even get to touch it and it was sitting cold on the table! You should have had some consideration and understanding. You lost a very high paying customer that has spent hundreds of dollars each time I visit! You have a lot to learn about running a business and I'm pretty sure that I can say this for me and everyone else when I say that you're doing it wrong! You will learn the hard way when you see those doors close!

We have been to restaurants who were having an off night. We get it. We are very patient and kind people who always tip top dollar! This is not that! Never in my life have I ever had such bad service! Not even in big cities! We got there at 4:30 and we left at 7:15 pm to never see a plate of food! Waited That entire time to just get our first drink and a cold bowl of clam chowder! And I honestly mean cold!!!! Our garlic bread that we asked for to come out with our food came out with a drink. Never received our food never received any consideration from the manager! I said that I wanted my check and I wanted to leave because we had waited way too long! Three other parties came and went after we had already been there for an hour with only one visit from Our waitress. She chatted it up with some couple that came in, having long drawn out conversations the entire time we were there. Never once was offered another drink or was checked on. The manager never offered to take care of any percentage off of the outrageous $30 bill for just one drink, a cup of clam chowder and bread, even though they never offered or came back to the table to give us to go container for anything! I waited an additional 15 minutes for my check to which they never came back to give me. I had to get up and go find someone! I then had to ask for a to go container when the manager asked for payment. Beyond irritated and disgusted! I don't have time to go get a decent dinner now because I have a long drive and work in the morning! This is what I get for being patient, hopeful and willing to drive out of my way for a restaurant that use to have better management!

The tastiest Italian Food in Wolfeboro! These outside pics are from the summer of 2023. Winters are great indoors, either at the bar or at a variety of tabletops….

1st time stopping inndue to a giftcard we received. 1st impression was weird just because there was no one that greeted us upon walking in, and there was a sign about a hostest but not on in sight. After waiting a bit, we decided to just go sit at the bar because that's where people actually were. The dining room to the side was empty. Our bartender was amazing. Friendly and efficient even with a full bar. The food was good. My husband got a hot honey friend chicken on a waffle special, and it smelt and looked amazing. My husband loved it and said it should be permanently put on the menu !Overall was decent. However, I enjoyed my time with my husband and forgot to take some photos.
