There are not so very many restaurants serving the very best in the Lakes region. This one went straight to the top of my list. Food was incredible and we got some great input on cocktails thanks to sitting at the bar. Not only were the staff excellent in every respect but the folks at the bar were all so friendly it was like a family meal. I can't say enough good things about it!

Great first visit to Pavilion. Heard great things from a friend and it lived up to its reputation as we celebrated my wife’s birthday. Everything was outstanding, and Julian’s doubling as bartender and waiter tonight even better. We’ll be back!

Service was underwhelming, including but not limited to excessive wait time to get the cocktails we ordered. That said, the food was great.
Synopsis: so you’re coming here for the food and atmosphere with someone you care about or want to do business with, but don’t expect to be wowed by the service you’ll be paying for.

Went for dinner with friends. Ordered the Tagliatelle and got food poisoning the next day. Called the restaurant to tell them and didn’t sound apologetic at all. Their response was, “you’re the only one that got food poisoning. We haven’t had any other complaints.” I guess you need many people to get sick before they do something about it. I will not be dining at this establishment again.

Elegant, simple and fresh ingredients. Simple as in you can identify everything coming out of Chef Chris and Teams kitchen. Elegant in the plating and ambience. Absolutely delicious. The crispy skin chicken over risotto was a win. The wife's pasta was perfect. Now... To the real star. Dessert. Emilee Viaud is one of the most premier pastry chefs I've ever had the pleasure of enjoying their craft. It needs to be spoken about more. The cheesecake was the best I've eaten in my life. They did a creme brulee to go for us, which I know can be a pain in the ass and I hated being that table. But it was done so perfectly and the wife was elated. This place and anything the Viaud's touch is gold. I will return and hope to work with them in the future.

Wine list Disappointment -
For our anniversary we selected this establishment along with the nicest bottle of wine shown on their reserve wine list. The fellow behind the bar opened it, poured it then we recognized that it was not the one we had chosen. Their response was, "it's from the same Winery". Sorry but at that price that is not an acceptable answer as the substitute bottle was not as good as what we had selected. They are crooks substituing cheaper bottles for what was advertised!

Hesitated coming here since the ownership change because the original Pavilion was the best restaurant in the Lakes Region. I’m sad to say, it’s not the same.
A friend and I shared 5 small dishes last night and 4 out of the 5 were good, not great, with something off in each:
-Caesar didn’t have enough dressing (easy fix but server never checked in)
-Pork ribs were over cooked and dry
-Carrots were VERY undercooked (flavor amazing though)
-Peanut butter cake had the worst imitation banana flavor that completely overpowered the entire dish
Jalapeno cheddar cornbread was absolutely delicious. However, $8 for one small piece! Our other appetizers were not outrageous for price/portion size. Entrees and wine, however had some serious price gauging.
One thing I REALLY didn’t understand was the drink list with only 4 cocktails and no dessert cocktails. Especially when one glass of wine was $14-$19, the drink options were too limited.
Sorry, won’t be coming back.

We did not have reservations, we were offered the bar seating which was good. Excellent experience food, atmosphere and service even though there was only 3 ladies who are serving the whole restaurant but did a great job ?

Had dinner at the bar recently. Nice service. The food - I had pasta and a salad - was good, but not stellar. If you want bread, you have to buy it. This always irks me. Seeing NYC restaurant prices on a menu in Wolfeboro always shocks me. A particular glass of wine that is $23 here is $16 at another restaurant in town. Had a meal at Wolfetrap a few nights later that was just as good and 2/3 the cost. Still, it’s a nice addition to town. But I do care about bang for the buck and I’m not seeing it here. If you charge $32 for a plate of pasta (in Wolfeboro) it should be amazing.

Wish I could give service 6/5 stars. Fantastic job all around. They were so accommodating of my dietary restrictions, well beyond what I would expect for any restaurant. Food was delicious, drinks were fun, atmosphere was well-crafted. Best dinner on the entire lake, in my opinion.
Dietary restrictions: The chef graciously accommodated my vegan diet by making an alternate main (rather than just another salad), and our server facilitated those changes with ease and professionalism.

Absolutely delicious fine dining experience at this NH restaurant owned by a James Beard nominated chef, Chris Viaud. (Also seen on TV’s Top Chef season 18) My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary eating outside at the back patio and enjoyed the sticky pork ribs which were fantastic! I’d say they were my favorite plate of the night! We also enjoyed a special of the clam chowder and it was very fresh and flavorful. For entrees we enjoyed the pan seared scallops and the roasted NY strip which were both so good! We shared the crème brûlée special for dessert and it was the best crème brûlée I have had in a long time! I absolutely plan on returning!

This place is incredible! We came here for my fiancés birthday dinner and were truly blown away by how delicious the food was (and they make a perfect dirty martini).
We recently moved to the area from Boston and while we’ve found some pretty good restaurants…Pavilion is on a different level. The ingredients are fresh, the plating is beautiful, and every dish from our appetizer through to dessert was melt in your mouth delicious!
You MUST get the cornbread with honey butter… we will be dreaming about that dish for a while. Everything we ordered was a 10/10 - can’t wait to come back

Food was amazing! We had the corn bread, crispy chicken, gnocchi and creme brûlée. Every bite was a delight! The service was solid. I didn’t think the dining room had much atmosphere but the bar area seemed cozy as we walked through.
