Would not recommend. Food we ordered was cheap and subpar. We also witnessed some unsanitary conditions around the food that was off putting.

Amazing service! Wait staff was so busy but very pleasant and attentive. 10-11 am on a Monday on off season, the place was completely full with a small wait list. Food came out fast, steak tips were cooked just right and tasted so good. Very impressed.

Had a great time! You may have to wait but well worth it. They give you a beeper to notify you when your table or counter is ready. (Always say you don't mind the counter). The beeper is good for a mile radius. Plenty of room to shop while you wait. The chowder was fresh and sold out just after we sat. Had a lobster roll that reminded me why I made the trip. When you get off the lake ferry run don't walk to the Bay Diner!

Food is great. They only like local people so don't expect attentive service if you are from out of town.

Wandered in off the street and soooo happy we did! ( I was just gonna go home and throw a burger on the grill) Diner is cozy with booth or counter seating and lots of small village atmosphere, helpful, happy staff and the food was fantastic. I’m a Maine-ah and retired chef/ restaurateur. Now I’m needing to recreate the taste of that scrumptiously seasoned lobster roll with butter! The red pepper soup was excellent. So happy the server recommended a grilled cheese to go with it, lol! The marbled rye made it perfect. Thin cut onion rings were tasty and crunchy. All this plus enough for a take home box for under $40.
Their breakfast menu looks fantastic so we’ll definitely stop back next time I don’t feel like cooking! Thank you Bay Diner!

Very disappointed we waited more than an hour for our food then had to ask the waitress where it was. She told us our slip had fallen on the floor but grabbed a bag that was sitting for 45 minutes that was to go and came back with our food in 2 minutes it was cold and disgusting
