We met friends at Trenta for their Halloween Party. There was live music from Carolyn Ramsay & many were in costume keeping to the "creepy Prom" theme. It was so much fun! The food and service were exceptional as usual. But this time all of the staff were in costume and they had a special Spooky menu which was deliciously creepy! Trenta which always has amazing food and service is typically very quite but their parties are so much fun!
We always enjoy TReNTA. The food is fantastic always fantastic. our server Jen is a very nice person always smiling. We always enjoy her also. we have eaten there many times and we always come back. Love y'all.
Expensive for the food. Scallops definitely not worth the price, tiny, and only 3 scallops. Service great, but because off season , very slow. I would say come for appetizers and drinks, they were good.
Try their excellent food and great atmosphere, you'll be back again!

This is a gem. Creative well executed menu, friendly attentive service with great suggestions. Cocktails were world class. Nice wine list and really reasonable pricing. Don't miss this place.
My girlfriend and I went in the other day, she had the sword fish special (which was amazing) and I had the porkchop, the barley was cooked perfectly and paired very well with the peach mostarda
Would recommend any day of the week

We wanted to treat my brother to a great meal in his new community - we had never been there before but will go again and again
Food and service were good, but I found the Moroccan duck leg to be quite small and the overall price of the dish at $42 unacceptably high.

We were very much looking forward to dining at Trenta tonight. We arrived early for our 6pm reservation. The restaurant was mostly empty. There was no one to greet us at the hostess stand. We waited a good 10 minutes before anyone passing by acknowledged us and sat us at our table. Once seated we were given menus. Our waitress was very nice. She asked if we wanted water. Yes please. She disappeared. Took a while for her to return with the waters. We ordered drinks. They were served one by one, sporadically. We were only 5 people at the table. 3 cocktails, 1 beer & 1 soda. Don’t understand why it took 20 minutes to get the final beverage served. Waitress disappeared again. Don’t know where she kept going bc the restaurant was empty. Seriously. Only 2 other tables in our dining room with us. I understand there are other rooms to this establishment, but the place was quiet. Not even music playing in the background.
The table in front of us was not happy with their meal and commented to their waitress as they sent something back. Our waitress returned and asked to take our order. I asked if there were any specials (as I had already heard another waitress offer specials to the guests at her table when she handed them their menus) & her response was “oh yeah, the specials, thanks for reminding me”. Really?? We ordered 3 apps, a charcuterie board that was about half pickled vegetables, a Caesar salad with barely any dressing, and a special, spicy alote over rice. The waitress told us it was spicy. We were just not prepared for the atomic spice. Two of us were coughing and trying to find out waitress to ask for more water. Did I mention there was another long wait for our apps? In the meantime, the table to our right sent food back as well. The chef came out to speak with the couple and asked what the issue was. Good on the chef. The couple was elderly and the woman was a bit shaky. She did not give specifics as to what she didn’t like about her meal, and the chef kept asking for details, but the elderly woman didn’t respond. At about 7:20 our dinners finally arrived. Did I mention we had a 6pm reservation? My daughter’s cacio e pepe was quite bland with no cheese and barely any pepper. My son was happy with his duck breast. I had the special, halibut wrapped in prosciutto. It was bland with not much texture, but the spinach risotto it was atop was very nice. Two orders at the table were seared scallops. Identical dishes, looked like two very different items. One seared, one charred. Throughout the meal we had to keep reminding the waitress to clear plates and empty glasses and to refill water. Wondering if she was trained? Sadly we will not be returning to Trenta. It’s a shame because we were looking for a new regular place to go.

Nice experience on a Friday evening. Peaceful location away from the fray of Wolfeboro. Food was high quality and creative, but several dishes were under seasoned. A little salt would make them pop! Appreciate the many gluten free choices, but some carby side dishes would be a nice menu addition. Service was excellent. Dining room can use some better window treatments to block the sun in the eyes. Give it a try!
We had dinner here 2 days ago and we were so disappointed. We dined here several times last year and thought we had found a good, consistent restaurant in the Wolfeboro area. I don't know if they have a new chef or maybe the food is from a different vendor, but the food was really bad, and we are not picky in the least bit. One order was ribs and there was almost no meat on them, and they tasted "off." They were not eatable. Another dish was salmon which had no flavor to it. Even the soup and salad were not good. Two filets were cooked correctly but had lots of fat on them. We were excited to frequent this restaurant often, but unfortunately this experience was so bad we won't be back again. And it's expensive too.
The service here was truly atrocious. By far the worst service I've ever had a restaurant and there were only 2 (maybe 3) other tables dining. The outside was busy and maybe this was a factor, but the waitress didn't even acknowledge how long EVERYTHING took.. not a sorry for the wait nothing. Three people in the party ordered the filet medium, and it came out so raw and clearly rushed even though it took upwards of an hour to come out after ordering. We ordered a bottle of wine and that even took so long we eventually went to the bar, and was told they don't even have the wine in stock.. the bartender was nice enough to give a small sampling for the one in our party who went up there which was nice. But waitress still not a peep. Food was okay other than the undercooked meat.. truly terrible service
I absolutely love all my people here at trenta always good food good people and a wonderful atmosphere of good vibes
