First off not a fan of paper tablecloth looks cheap.
I ordered the fried clam plate with fries, fries and tartar sauce were good. The clams stunk the bellies were very small no bigger than a dime if that. My guest ordered the fried scallops with onion rings. The onion rings were the best thing on the plate. The scallops had no flavor I have had better. Was very disappointed. At least the drinks were cold, and the waitress was very good. Don't think we will be going back.

This is a great little restaurant off of the main tourist area of Wolfeboro. The scalloped platter was amazing, the scallops just melted in my mouth like butter and were so tasty! The view is outstanding, and I highly recommend the Wolfetrap Grill and Raw Bar.

The food is what brought us here.
Unfortunately it was evident that the owner and family members really don't enjoy working at their restaurant. They work to discourage instead of encourage getting serviced. Hearing them actually say, "wish we weren't so popular" was a surprise.
Suggestion: raise you prices and the demand will drop. Otherwise enjoy the popularity and learn to deal with it.

Another great meal at Wolfetrap. This isn't fine dining, but it's a top notch neighbourhood eatery. Lobster was excellent and swordfish was cooked to perfection. Efficient and friendly service.
Always consistantly great food. BEST Summer spot in Wolfeboro!

We stopped in at the bar late afternoon for a quick cocktail and a small appetizer. The server recommended the mussels. They were excellent, very fresh and no grit. Staff were very friendly and we enjoyed our time.

Yummy food at a cute spot. A little off town follow the signs to this gem. Ample parking, delicious specials and just a fantastic lobster menu. Everything is delicious. The drink menu is great too. Family and pet friendly, a great spot all day and night long. Check it out!

The only thing better than the food is the service ? everytime we visit, we make sure the wolfetrap is on our schedule. Our server Carrie is ALWAYS a win.

We love Wolfetrap. The food is consistently yummy. We were a little disappointed that there was zero acknowledgement of our 20th anniversary despite noting it in our reservation. And the host is always surprisingly brusque and borderline unpleasant when you arrive. But we ignored all that and just enjoyed the food. Our waitperson was lovely. The staff are very very busy and even overwhelmed.
Lovely back bay restaurant with outdoor seating. I had crabcake and husband had seafood chowder as appetizers. Both done to perfection. But the parmesan crusted haddock was the bomb! A wonderful meal in a friendly, nautical setting.
