We have eaten at the Wolfetrap many times over the years. Last Thursday night was exceptional as usual. The food is outstanding, the service perfect, and the overalll experience wonderful. One of our favorite restaurants anywhere Martha and Stan Shimkus
They were slammed with holiday people. They also had a huge storm and people had to come in from patio. They worked so hard and handled it like pros to keep everybody happy! Food was excellent
The food was good. The lobster used and lobster salad is good with nice chunks. The the serving size of the calamari was fairly small for the larger size. Somebody got a chicken Caesar salad and very much enjoyed the dressing. The fish did appear to be nice and fresh, which was good. Price point was a bit high, but we did enjoy the time.
We sat outside with a group of friends and had a fabulous time! The raw bar platter was amazing, the calamari, seafood chowder, and grilled shrimp with the caprese salad delicious!
We always enjoy coming here knowing we're going to love it! There are so many excellent dishes, it's hard to choose. The grilled swordfish, scallops and mussels are my favorites. My husband loves the peel and eat shrimp, the lobster and clams. You cannot go wrong even if you don't like seafood. Their salads and sandwiches are fantastic also.
We view the Wolfetrap as always an excellent place for a great dinner with friends. A bit pricy, but the food and service are both consistently of high quality.
We hade the perfect serene outside dining experience. I'm not sure if I checked the correct box in the surv. The smallest box meant the least amount of noise to me
The best part of summer is having the Wolfetrap open! As always, great food, great staff, great view! Just perfect! Can someone eat too many lobster rolls?! Asking for a friend. 🤣
Food was good however small portions for a hefty price. The drinks are mostly mix and hardly any alcohol. Also, they're very expensive.

Always a five star at the Wolfetrap! Food was amazing, drinks were spot on and the service is top notch!!
Our entrees of Grilled swordfish and oarmesan crusted haddock were served perfectly. Hot, tasty and delicious.
First off not a fan of paper tablecloth looks cheap.
I ordered the fried clam plate with fries, fries and tartar sauce were good. The clams stunk the bellies were very small no bigger than a dime if that. My guest ordered the fried scallops with onion rings. The onion rings were the best thing on the plate. The scallops had no flavor I have had better. Was very disappointed. At least the drinks were cold, and the waitress was very good. Don't think we will be going back.

End of season but the menu was current and had what we ordered. We had a lovely meal, and our server was outstanding; as it was not too busy for the Saturday crowd, she gave us space to just enjoy and be there on a sunny Fall afternoon.
