Excited to try this place for the first time but everything was just OK. Sad that the cream in the turnover wasn't actually cream but some sort of nasty marshallow fluff, and the jam tasted like it was store bought. Liked the decor and they are obviously great at marketing

The ice cream was very flavourful creamy tasty and ice creamy and the cookies were soft on inside crisp on outside very deliciouso if I don't say myself ?anyways the whole time it was very good highly recommend

Had the cannoli doughnut. It was a blissfully, naughty, delight. I have to fight the urge for one of these all the time.

What an incredible bakery. Literally everything is delicious that they serve. Every single thing. It’s amazing! Highly recommend.
Blueberry muffin was good, full of blueberries and moist although quite small… however the coffee was unfortunately terrible. We ordered a vanilla latte and a cappuccino and both tasted very burnt. Didn’t end up finishing the drinks and wouldn’t recommend this place if you want espresso style coffee.

Hard to imaging a place more entwined with my childhood. My daughter (28 now) won their kids art contest 20 years ago and still has the picture on the wall. I dream about their gingerbread men. Still…I’m probably never going back… super sad.
I spend the cold months in CA where prices are out of control. I thought I was immune from price shock, but this morning I bought a dozen donuts and a dozen gingerbread men and got the bill for over $50… that’s insane and it’s sad.
I don’t know anyone locally who was not excited and grateful when the YumYum Shop got rebuilt after it burned down a few years ago…it’s wonderful to have institutions like that which define our small community. At the same time many in the local community are suffering from an inability to manage the rising costs for food and services here. Some of it is unavoidable, but seeing our local shop sticking it to the very people that have supported it for decades is really depressing.
There are other great places to eat and hang out in Wolfeboro… I’ll be focusing my support on those who don’t actively gouge the community simply because they can.
