Great environment, should have more outdoor seating. Menu had a great variety of foods. Beer is good, like the descriptions.
We were a table of 8 today and the server was really incredible and made a birthday dinner a really special experience. Really great vibes, service and food! The best beer around.
One of the best new breweries in the state with a really unique taproom. Fantastic IPA’s & Lagers.
It’s a must visit

First time there highly recommend the food and service were wonderful.
The best food around! The chef was very nice to greet us at our table Also, Rebecca was a wonderful server. Thank you
Back in the late ‘80s in Park Slope there was a tex mex joint called The Alamo. Young adults would go there to drink after work, but families with small kids would feel just as welcome. It had a neighborhood vibe, welcoming to all generations.
Alternate Ending Beer has that same vibe. A friendly place where people can mix comfortably. Of course the beers are great and the food delicious. (Note the one exception: the hummus needs more tahini and less salt).
But the hummus aside, AEB is exactly the kind of establishment every neighborhood should have. Absolutely top notch.
Paid $18 for a ceasar salad that came in a half filled container. Probably a dollar of lettuce and croutons. Ridiculous. Prices are insane and the quality has gone down hill.
Love Alternate ending! The food is great, the drinks are amazing and the service is always fantastic. Recently had my son‘s third birthday party there and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out!
We have enjoyed going to the Alternate Ending craft brewery many times since they opened, but I want to provide a special shout out for exceptional treatment by their management along with some special brews, and desserts we got from them recently. It started with my recent complaint to their management that my pre-Thanksgiving online order for one of their holiday specialty peanut butter pies missed the delivery in time for Thanksgiving.
Not only did they respond to my request to make up that missing pie in time for my family Hanukkah/Christmas holiday party, but they also included their latest Nutella mouse pie for free with my order. Let me say, that there wasn’t much left of either pie at my family party. The Nutella mouse was smooth, light and creamy with a nice nutella overtone, chocolate cookie crumb shell, and chocolate icing. But by popular demand (by many of my family members) the peanut butter pie with chocolate chips and cookie crumb shell won the taste test - hands down. It was truly delicious, rich and made us all happy just to have a bite of it in our mouths for a few seconds. YUM! My thanks to Scott for making things right for me in time for our party – you and the pies ROCK!
I also had the pleasure of trying their 18-month barrel aged imperial stout “A Beautiful Friendship”. It’s the dessert wine of stouts. It has richness and layers of flavors that drink more like a dessert than a stout. I shared it with friends and it got immediate accolades. My recommendation – drink it icy cold. It’s wonderful – try it now.
My wife and I have other other craft brews and stouts from them and they have had way more hits than misses. There are some that they no longer brew that break our hearts that they don’t make more (like Mordechai Stout that tasted like a liquid Mounds Bar). But now that they are making specialty holiday pies and foods, we like them even more.
On top of it all, they have a great upscale bar vibe, with movie nights, and other events often. It gets busy and crowded some nights but I highly recommend it for a night out – or for take out if you’re not into the bar scene.

This place is the worst, I would leave no stars if it were a option, I was there for brunch with friends, we were seated at 10:30am finally the waitress took our order at around 11:00. We got coffee. So after about 20 min we got coffee.. then we asked for sugar, about 25 min later we got sugar..lol then they took our order. About 45 minutes later we got our food, ...cold.. the eggs were processed, the bacon was so smoked it tasted like a ashtray, and the hashbrown was cold and full of grease, along with my food was look warm at best I asked for salt and pepper and that took another 20-25 minutes...ya just can't make this up, just horrible.. would have gotten a better meal at McDonald's...in closing, don't waist your money.
We were a large group that reserved bunch for a Sunday morning a week in advance along with our food orders. While they had a table setup, the table they set up wasn’t large enough for the party, we didn't come with extra people either. A good amount of us pre-ordered their egg sandwich which was suppose to come with candied bacon but none of them did. We then had to wait an extra 20 minutes for new sandwiches. Not a great experience and I wouldn’t recommend. Servers were great which is the reason for the one star.
The sour dough Pizza was really good , so was the ambiance , a bit loud and noisy though, and service.
The food and beer here is great. The vegan/vegetarian food is very solid. Also seems cool to have a private party in the theater room. The only downside is sometimes you get a waiter that is slow and forgets what you ordered.
Fantastic food and service!! Also got pretzel bites, wings and a salad. Everything tasted amazing!! You need to eat here!
