“My friends and I love this place. Very good ambiance and wine is great, too. I do wish they had a larger variety of red wine. The prices for the reds are a little too steep. If I was their management I would either lower the prices on the reds or add another one or two good reds with a lower price sticker. As someone who goes to wineries and enjoys wine, I know that 44 and 46 dollars for a bottle of wine, even if at a winery, is too steep.“

“What’s just as much The Real Deal as in - the best barbecue in Hunterdon county and beyond? The staff and crew at The Real Deal are just as sweet and amazing as their top notch food. Kevin and crew are the sweetest. They’ve catered several medium to large sized events for us, and I always order extra so I have “leftovers” and i hide my “extras” away from guests because no matter how much I order, every. Single. Dish. Is wiped clean, and gone. Their BBQ pulled pork, brisket, Cole slaw, cornbread, Mac and cheese, baked beans, and their sauces they sell retail wise are just above and beyond. Thank you, Kevin and crew, for this absolute gem of delicious genuine BBQ every weekend. We love you guys so so much! “I enjoy it here. Nice spot. Food is always solid, but the place is always empty! Not quite sure what the issue is. But I have never seen a place with more turnover! I have met 3 different managers is just about as many months and the most recent one "Mark" is clueless. He seems totally lost and does not really seem to do much. And every time I go there seems to be a new bartender behind the stick. Bit of a mixed bag, but most are very good. Most recently, I was there on a random weekday I had Ricky who was super friendly and a great conversationalist.“
