This was our fourth visit to the Grill at the Pittstown Inn in the last four years. We were seated promptly at our table, and drinks and the food menu were distributed. Water was served promptly. We started with Fried Calamari as an appetizer, which came with Marinara sauce and Aioli sauce. The calamari was fresh and crisp and tasted well. Next, we ordered our main courses as Crab-filled Shrimp and Chef Special fish-Halibut with Brussels sprouts and rice. Both dishes were well-spiced and warm and delicious. We ended with Strawberry cheesecake and Decaf Cappuccino coffee. In between courses, our table was cleaned and water poured, as well as new plates and cutlery provided. The wait staff were friendly and prompt. The owner of the Grill stopped by every table to inquire about the food, etc. They also specialize in Indian cuisine, as a few items on the menu are Chicken Tikka, Naan etc etc. This restaurant has good quality food, service, and very decent prices. I highly recommend it, and we will return.

Dinner was excellent as usual. The service is always top notch! Live music is a great addition to the exceptional meal quality and presentation. My favorite go to is the salmon.

We meet some friends for dinner a couple of weeks ago. We had an excellent experience. The food was great and the service was outstanding. We used to be regular guests but moved away four years ago. Miss being so close. Keep up the great work!

We remember this restaurant being much better. The food was just okay, nothing great. The Salmon BLT had one tiny piece of tomato, one tiny piece of lettuce and 2 very small pieces of bacon. It is really just a Salmon sandwich and is in no way a "BLT", very disappointing. Others at the table had burgers that sounded much better on the menu than they were. Might be okay for a drink and an appetizer but much better choices around for dinner.

We've been coming here for years, it's a beautiful old tavern, with a nice porch for mild weather. Wait staff is very professional, food is good, owner is present and engaged. Lots to explore on the menu.

Was like eating at a New York restaurant in a beautiful country setting. One of the best experiences I have ever had and the food was excellent. Five stars to everything.

Yesterday was our first time — a WONDERFUL experience!
The food was excellent, from the appetizers to the desserts. Excellent flavors, excellent presentation. The portions were generous, and the quality was outstanding.

Our waiter was very nice, as was everyone else helping. The staff was professional and welcoming.

The live music was a great addition — not too loud, allowing us to talk comfortably.

I honestly don’t know which dish to recommend because I enjoyed all of them! The samosa chaat was absolutely delicious — not too spicy, perfectly balanced. And the flourless chocolate cake… wow! That dessert is not always a hit at other places, but I truly enjoyed it here.

If you haven’t been there yet, go! The experience is worth it!

been many times over the years and its always good. Food is very good, fairly priced, properly and consistently prepared. Service is excellent and the owner is friendly and usually around and available. Only gripes - I wish he'd change the menu from time to time. And some of the bartenders can be a little stingy with their pour. Not common around here so it stands out. But all in all, an excellent restaurant absolutely worth going

I had the calamari appetizer, fish and chips main course and crème brûlée for dessert. The calamari was cooked correctly very tender, and the batter was crisp. The dipping sauces were very good, but not my preference. The fish and chips were OK. The fish was cooked well, very tender, although the portion size could’ve been a little more. The french fries were homemade but not very crispy. The sauces provided were very good. The crème brûlée was absolutely out of this world and a large portion size. Overall, a very good meal wait staff was very attentive. I’d go back.

An amazing experience. We went for Saturday lunch. Firstly, it is very refreshing to enter a fine dining establishment that actually plays background music (classic jazz) that corresponds to the environment. The host and servers were very professional, courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. The items that we ordered were delectable and everything was presented in a very elegant manner. The overall experience was calm and sophisticated.
