Very disappointed, won't be back. We dined here for my birthday on a recommendation. 3 out of the 4 steaks we ordered were not done properly. Seafood appetizers were good and the wedge salad was alright too, but this is a steakhouse, not a seafood place. My steak pictured was $78, broiled for far too long on one side and had no crust whatsoever on the bottom- the char was so nasty and bitter I had to spit it out into a tissue. I asked for medium rare, on the rarer side, and it was very rare or well done, depending on if you had the top or bottom. I asked them to send out a medium rare replacement filet mignon, and it came deep blue on the inside, sent it back, and again it was still blue in the middle. Finally, after the 3rd time, it was alright, but anyone can make a better steak after a 5-minute YouTube tutorial. They tried to make it right, at least. The tacky fake neon LED sign and intimidating black exterior cheapens the atmosphere, along with the dilapidated bathroom. For spending over $700 for a party of 4 (after tip and 1 bottle of $32 wine), we should have spent the night in, or maybe at the River Palm Terrace.

I had an incredible experience here! The porterhouse steak was cooked perfectly—tender, flavorful, and clearly high quality. The cheesecake for dessert was the perfect finish—rich, creamy, and beautifully presented. The service was outstanding; the servers were attentive, welcoming, and made me feel like family. The owner came by to check in, and his warmth and hospitality really stood out.
This is definitely a place I’ll be coming back to and recommending to others.

First time here, excelent dinner all the way around. We liked sitting upstairs, nicer atmosphere. Had the porterhouse for 2, just perfectly cooked and delicious. The filet side melted in your mouth. Friends had rib eye and filet and said the same thing. Had several sides. The chips were the best! Oh, I almost forgot, the BACON appy, yum. At most steakhouses, this would be $350 or so with tip, but being a byo, it was $250 a couple, I felt redeemed, lol. Service was excellent, very friendly and attentive and the table was kept very clean. I can't wait to go back

This version of the Allendale Steak House is comparable to the best NYC steakhouses! Such a beautiful space, great vibes, outstanding and attentive service, and DELICIOUS food. The team here is excellent- from starters to schlag, dining here is a delight.

Disappointing. Unfortunately not a great experience. We ordered our porterhouse medium and it came out well done and dry. Parts of it were medium but others were well. We spoke to the staff who had no issue replacing our steak. The second try was better but still not a consistent temperature throughout and lacking flavor. Sides were average at best, nothing I would expect from a steakhouse.
We were place at a corner table at the end of the restaurant. The wall was chipped, just not a great look. The bathroom was dirty and noisy. Unfortunately not what I was expecting from their website and prices.

My husband and I were celebrating our 11th Anniversary yesterday and decided to visit Allendale Steakhouse for the first time. We went with our 10 year old daughter who loved everything . The food, the experience and the service were all amazing! Everyone was super attentive and accommodating without being constantly on top of us. We felt relaxed and enjoyed food with clean yet amazing flavors. My daughter ate her entire meal and loved it ! This will definitely become our new go to stop right in our neighborhood.
Congratulations for amazing service and delicious food!!

We had dinner at the Steakhouse this evening and it never disappoints. If you’re a frequent dinner in Allendale at Mezza Luna or the Morning Bloom, you know that the Eddie is the master of creating amazing restaurant ambience. Adi Veseli, the master chef and his crew of long-term assistants create and serve amazing fresh dishes at all three of the Veseli venues. The food is amazing, the service is excellent, and I’m always treated like family. You will never find better food, better service, or a better restaurant than any one of the Veseli restaurants. Go often. Bring and become part of the family. It’s unbeatable! Pete

I asked for medium steak. They cooked it medium and then left it under a heat lamp for 30 more minutes. Super overcooked and inedible. Would not recommend.

I hate leaving bad reviews for restaurants, but this one deserves it. Every thing we ate was terrible. The cheese in the cesar salad wasnt good and the lettuce was a little “tired”, the steak fillet didnt taste like fillet or was an exceptionally bad one. The side of cream spinach was medium at best and the mushrooms felt like the came from a can and were warmed up. BAD FOOD in NYC prices.
service was pleasant and the restaurant is pretty .
