Goldberg's Famous Bagels

I bought a bacon egg and pepper jack cheese on an onion bagel. The eggs: wack The cheese: no even melted The bacon: sparce For almost 8$ it should have been more quality to it. Coming back to nj from moving out 3 years ago is a disappointment and i’ll NEVER recommend this abomination of a bagel place to ANYONE..

Ordered a bagel and cream cheese, out if plain bagels. Pivoted to a plain flagel and they uncharged for the flagel - $5.01 for bagel and cream cheese is wild. Also was asked several times, became pushy, if I wanted anything else, was asked if I wanted a coffee. Got home, barely any cream cheese on flagel. It's a bagel place, prices for everything including sandwiches on the board were very high and portions minimal.

I had the worst Corned Beef sandwich today at the Allendale location. Literally threw it away! What a disappointment. The meat was inedible. If I was closer, I would have demanded a refund!

$34+ for a lunch for two.

That’s what I was charged for a tuna on plain bagel (no L or T), a toasted flagel w/ a few slices of salami & cheese, 2 gatorades & 2 bags of chips. A $15-20 lunch at best! These crooks charged me close to $35… a bagel place. Shameful.

The worst store to pick up orders, the operation is slow, the delivery that I accept in that one, 95% end up abandoning the order, very long waits.👎

The short lady is always cursing at customers in Spanish and I find that very unprofessional. I hear it all the time & by the way I am one of the customers she curses at after she tells me to hold on . she always has a nasty attitude and messes up orders . Leslie I believe her name is very nice , respectful & make sure she gets the order correct . I recommend you go there if she is taking orders . The bald guy sorry man I don’t know your name he is very nice as well and patient with customers . The young man in there with glasses is very nice to and very respectful and he also get the order right .

One of the worst BECs I’ve ever had. The bacon was like McDonald’s bacon, bagel tasted stale and I think the cheese was probably Kraft Singles. I swear there were probably 6 slices of cheese on the sandwich. Would never go back, so disappointing

Rip off 9 dollars for a breakfast sandwich is crazy 3 slices of thin meat rude employees not only did I feel like I got ripped off they got my order wrong also first and last tine going their I will not return their is a dunkin donuts across the street ill be going their next time ill never go back here again extremely over priced thanks biden

Decent bagels, but EVERYTIME I order a small cream cheese spread, the price varies…sometimes it’s a flat rate price, other times they put the SAME small cup and weigh it…very frustrating…additionally they have a few people working the front that barely speak a lick of English, so trying to order a coffee with ‘2 sugars and light cream’ is virtually impossible

I’m only giving a one star review because I have no other option to give less. I walk in and there’s about 15 people working, behind the counters most of which are preparing for online orders and handling DoorDash drivers coming in throwing their phone in the air like it’s a concert looking for their food to deliver, which seems to take precedence over walk in customers, I ordered a corn beef and egg sandwich. The woman behind the counter rung me up $14.71. I said that’s a mistake. This is a sandwich I get regularly. Please don’t disregard the pricing on the menus another girl that was standing there taking DoorDash orders Speaking in Spanish as if I have no idea what she saying but I do and she was obnoxious and rude. I didn’t say anything until the very end when I had to speak Spanish back to her the boss came over and told me I was confusing her! I laughed, and I said , this place is a joke and English as a second language here. The only thing confusing her is the English language. Goldbergs needs to get it together. They’re hiring incompetent people paying less they’re rude and obnoxious. My coffee was burnt. I had to ask for it three times in three different ways in two different languages. My sandwich came out cold. The bagel was tough, and the corn beef tasted like it came from a dumpster.
