Toscana Pizza nestled between a bunch of high-quality restaurants surely can stand with the best of them. This establishment is run by the most welcoming, humble business owner (Billy) I have ever met. However, his food does all the talking as its always fresh and tasty. The pizza crust is perfectly crisp every time. The ratio of cheese to sauce is spot on. The toppings are high quality. The flavors complement each other in such that you can taste all the ingredients. The marinara sauce used for the other dishes has a nice balance and does not overwhelm the dish it is served with. The Sicilian slice is probably one of the best I have ever had. The grilled chicken pesto sandwich, and the grilled chicken broccoli rabe cooked to order is amazing. Also, one of my favorites is the eggplant as I can eat that every day, not too thick, not too thin. The bread is always crispy and fresh. After your meal, there is always a Thank You coming from the staff as you walk out with a smile on your face.

Very good food. As a visitor from Florida, I always look forward to NJ pizza. This place did not disappoint. I had 2 slices with pepperoni. The crust was nice and toasted on the bottom. The sauce was delicious. And the cheese and pepperoni was excellent. But the real bonus was my fried calamari. They were taking a while to make, but I noticed they appeared to be hand breading them...none of that pre-breaded stuff. They were great!!

I wouldn't have even left criticism if the person that answered the phone wasn't so rude. At the end of the order my only request was please make sure the receipt is provided to which the person on the other side of the phone replied "It's in the bag". Well not only were the pizza and fries mediocre at best they also didn't even provide the receipt. My only request.
