I had a pork sandwich yesterday with broccoli rabe. It's been about a year or more since I ordered food from this restaurant, and what I got yesterday was not good at all! There was about a 1/4 - 1/3 cup of yellow grease in the bottom of the container with my food.The meat was loaded with fat, there was way too much cheese on it, and there was very little broccoli rabe. OMG. I tried Phil’s MULTIPLE times over the years and was so disappointed. My BF stopped on Thursday and brought me the most AMAZING PUPUSAS 🤤. And MAGICAL PLANTAIN EMPANADAS. I would have never tried it because I really didn’t like one thing any of the times I went before. I will DEFINITELY be going back. A LOT. This is a good and bad thing. Did I mention PUPUSAS??????!
Since new owners took over it’s definitely NOT the same. Should change the name to not confuse previous customers. The original was so much better!
