First time here today and it was amazing. The food was delicious and reasonably priced and I LOVED the mushroom soup. The place is very cozy and I loved the fireplace. Everyone was so kind. This will be our regular spot now!!

Had the corn beef hollandaise breakfast and English muffin with brie and the corn beef croquettes for an app.I personally like my corn beef a bit more dry, but that's just my preference. The service was great! I wish I could say the same about the food. Food was subpar for the price. For 2 breakfasts and an app it was close to $60 with tip.Overall, I do not think it's worth it. It's nothing to write home about.

LOVE everything about this little hidden treasure. The food is amazing, the staff is beyond friendly, and the atmosphere is perfect and cozy. The location is great, near a bunch of antique shops within walking distance.

Everything about Lake House signals comfort and charm. On a recent Saturday afternoon, my sister Renee and friend Jason and I enjoyed a wonderful brunch and settled into each other’s company. Several cups of coffee in…. And having opined about everything from the music scenes in the tri-state area to the challenge of becoming a minimalist and tons more “coffee tawk” in between, we vibed with management and were treated like FAMILY. Three thumbs up!

What a fantastic find! My husband and I were looking for a quick bite on our way to Open Box Shop. We were greeted by Terry (a lovely man who I think will be my new bestie!) We decide on soup to start. My husband had split pea with ham and I had an incredibly flavorful chicken with white bean and spinach. They were both so good. My husband had the chicken cutlet with smashed potato croquettes and cheese. He enjoyed it a lot and it was enough for a lunch and dinner! We will definitely be back!

Dont go here if you have any type of dietary restrictions ie celiac cause they dont understand you cant put pasta salad in the same container as a sandwich with gluten free bread. And then fight with you on the phone about it....very poorDietary restrictions: If you have any dont eat here

Tucked away in a very old building is a small cafe with a fireplace & a casual breakfast/lunch menu. Our waiter was very nice with an Irish accent & we started w/coffee & iced tea. I had the avocado toast with poached eggs & my husband got bacon & eggs with sourdough bread. We both enjoyed our meals & my husband really liked the hash browns that were chock full of onions & green peppers. Service was good & the place was nice & homey. Don't let the dilapidated parking lot deter you - check this place out!

I found the lake house cafe while i was visiting the area. I wanted a coffee shop and i was surprised that the only options were Dunkin’ Donuts and Starbucks. But just my luck i found the only real coffee shop in the area and it was Lake house cafe. The menu they had offered a diverse array of dishes crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients, showcasing both creativity and culinary expertise. I ended up ordering there crepes along with my espresso and the flavors harmonize perfectly. The service at the lake house cafe was fantastic. If you are in the area and looking for that quaint cozy coffee shop the Lake house cafe is the place to go. I highly recommend this establishment. Plus if you love antiquing there are a lot of store within walking distance.
