The Ciderhouse at Ironbound Farm

Truly impressive regenerative farming operation. Most food offered at the restaurant are grown or raised on site or by partnering local farms, and the ciders are thoughtfully made and interesting. Recommend walking through the garden and shopping for produce and cider at the store in addition to the meal. Thanks to Charles, the visionary owner, for pointing out some very late fruiting November strawberries. The most sweet, flavorful, delicious strawberries I’ve ever tasted.

This place is truly a gem! The food is exceptional and entirely farm-to-table, showcasing their commitment to quality by partnering with local farms. The service was impeccable; our waitress was not only friendly and welcoming but also incredibly knowledgeable about the food and drink menu. To top off our wonderful evening with family, we shared an apple berry dessert accompanied by brown sugar ice cream—it was the perfect finishing touch. I can't wait to return, especially since the menu changes with the seasons!

Great place for a view and live music performances. Lovely atmosphere and there's an outdoor kitchen!

The chili was absolutely delicious! ?

We loved it here! We made a lunch reservation and were seated quickly. We got a flight of ciders, and a few of the sandwiches with a side of potato salad. Everything was so fresh and delicious! The bread and ingredients were amazing and I will definitely be back! We then ordered a drink and sat outside by one of the fire pits and walked through the farm, the vibe out there was lovely as well :)

Every time I’ve been here I’ve left so impressed! I love that the menu offers seasonal fresh ingredients and locally sourced. I am not usually a cider person, but I always enjoy their cocktails made with their cider. Last night I tried the hot mulled cider (spiked) and it was to die for. I love it here, but I do wish they had their outside fire pit area open. I used to enjoy their wings and pizza in a few years ago, and I’d love that area to be open again! I believe they said it was a permitting issue, so hope they are trying to work something out!

Anyway 10/10 love Ironbound!!

Wonderful restaurant. Very fresh foods. Imaginative combinations of ingredients. A culinary adventure. They grow most of the food they serve or source them from local farms. Cider is made in house from heritage apples.

Great experience all around. Food was unique and excellently done. Cider was great! This place is a NJ gem, and should be frequented by all who like a great NJ story and experience. If you have company visiting, please take them here, as it will be a very memorable experience for them. Be sure to catch the owner roaming around and he will tell you the amazing tales of how it came to be!

Best meal of our lives!

Stop at the hostess booth to get your rule book for this place. There are rules where to sit, where to order etc. We were asked twice to move from our picnic table because it was reserved for some other imaginary patron. The food took forever and the cider is bland. Very disappointing place.

Charles, the owner, greeted us on arrival. He was gracious and funny.

This was a n exceptional experience. Concept, atmosphere, food and all staff were terrific. This isca must try!

Amazing place with great food, friendly staff and tasty ciders! We had our six month old baby with us, the staff were really friendly and accommodating. The food was fresh and tasty - we ordered both vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes. They were really good at making most of the options vegetarian/ vegan/ GF. We ordered cider flight (original was the best flavor) and also tried cocktails which were splendid. Absolutely love this hidden gem. Highly recommend!
