First time here and was very impressed! Food and service were excellent. Didn't feel rushed but wait time for our meal wasn't excessive. Portions were plentiful for the cost. Will definitely eat here again!

Service was excellent. Order taking, delivery, and plate clearing were on-time and professional. The two fillets we ordered were over cooked: one just a little and mine to the extreme. They offered to replace it. To which, I declined. I never send anything back. As an alternative, they provided a free desert. That was ok with me. all in all, we have a very enjoyable dinner, and I will go back there again.

We have been going here for over 20 years -food and service our always top notch. Minor ding as last night they ran out of sparkling water and did not have their after dinner sugar sticks to be used for coffee. I want to recognize our table attendant Julio- he made sure our table always had filled water glasses and our table was always clean before the next course arrived.

My wife and I picked up carryout for traditional Thanksgiving Day meal. Picked up around noon and ate around 1pm. Became ill with stomach cramps and diarrhea around 2am. My wife followed with same illness about 1hour after my symptoms. Presumably this was food poisoning from the kitchen since the turkey breast appeared well cooked with no pink color. We have eaten here several times over the years with no bad experiences like this visit.

The place is ok, nice and clean. Staff is friendly. Although chewing gum while you serve food is not normally seen. The food service a bit awkward making people like up all at once, they should call up one table at time. Food was okay.

Attended a wedding celebration here, it was beautiful inside and the food was good. The bread was so incredible it might have been the best part of the meal. Not sure why Google thinks this is a hotel but it definitely is not. No bedrooms here just dining, bar and restrooms

I am a vegetarian and their veggies option picked were amazing. I had the bruschetta as an appetizer and the mushroom steak that came with a side of spaghetti that I was too full too eat. The drinks were also well made and strong the way I like it. Our waiter James was kind and patient with me and my dinner date. I will definitely be returning I really enjoyed myself.
Great restaurant. Very accommodating for our high school alumni group.

We went to celebrate our 12th Anniversary, as we got married at Mountain View Chalet. The food was excellent, my husband had the prime rib and I had the chicken francese. delicious. Our server Manny was friendly and attentive. Everything was wonderful.

We have been frequenting the Mountainview Chalet for over 10 years and always come back for more. It's amazing that one of the staff members, Julio, remembers us every time we visit! The Mountain View Chalet is a fabulous restaurant easily accessible at the Pattenburg exit of Interstate Route 78. I have been here numerous times over the years and can honestly say that I have never had a bad meal. I have dined here by myself numerous times and have also been here several times with a group for special occasions and the Holidays. Every dish is expertly prepared and wonderfully presented - piping hot and delicious. The wait staff is always very pleasant and very accommodating. I feel very relaxed and like I am at home when I am here. I like to start my meal with a shrimp cocktail. There are several favorite meals on the menu that I always thoroughly enjoy. I highly recommend the veal marsala. It is always very tender and delicious. Also, don't forget to indulge yourself with their delicious homemade deserts. Their cakes are out of this world and always a delight. I introduced my oldest niece and her husband to The Mountain View Chalet; and although they live 40 miles away, it quickly became their favorite restaurant! Yes, it is that good!!
