Solid place for breakfast and lunch. The turkey Smokey is a great sandwich to share!

I have been a long time resident of Highlands. I haven’t really frequented the Atlantic Highlands area until I got older . I ate here yesterday for the first time and I was blown away by the food, atmosphere, and the customer service from the staff. As a person of color, I’m always nervous walking into some establishments in the area but the welcoming energy I received from staff made me comfortable quickly . The customer service was kind, positive, & welcoming. I had ordered a sausage, egg, & cheese with a hash brown on an everything bagel. This is my second day back and it tastes just as good as it did yesterday! You guys are doing good, keep up the good work <3

I would like to change my review, I don’t put out bad reviews lightly but they reached out and asked for a second chance. I am conceding to that they probably had a bad day or off moment. Also despite there offer to make it right, I couldn’t make it back there to let them before I left town. I’m gonna new review at my past experiences with this place.

ok been going here most of my life, today it was not good. My bagel was stale, egg overcooked poked and two very thin pieces of pork roll.
it really stunk and the. made me sick. Must be new management, i dont think ill go here anymore.

I’ve come here a lot over the years but the level of disorganization has become crazy. Online order, waited 15 minutes because they don’t have a pickup line, and it turns out it wasn’t even in the kitchen yet. Couldn’t wait any more. Nobody has time for this. Would have taken an hour all-in. Won’t bother requesting a refund because I’m sure it would be another waste of time.

The people were friendly and the place look cleaned but needed some updates to make it look nicer. However the bagels were a total miss they were hard and not chewy. Please work in your recipe and process I will come

This has been my go to place for a bagel on my way to the ferry for over two years but the last two times I have ordered (20+ minutes in advance) I have got to the store and they didn’t even start making my sandwhich yet so I had to leave with nothing to make the boat. The sandwhichs are good but unfortunately the service has left me without breakfast multiple times so unless they can make it up I will have to look elsewhere. The area has no shortage of excellent bagel stores, the standard is high.

Had ordered some bagels over the phone. Had to repeat the order a few times to which the lady taking my order became rude and frustrated. I apologize for wanting my orders to be correct. When I arrived to pick up the orders I recognized the voice as to the lady with darker hair behind the counter being the one whom I had given my order to over the phone . Snapping at another employee saying "it's over there!" (Referring to my bagged order)-which come to have found out was missing some items.. To that employee with the darker hair - Kindness is FREE. If you are not happy for whatever reason do not take it out on the customers rather learn to leave any personal negativity at the door. It's ashame because the food is very good.

We went ABC hoping for some authentic bagels (they now close at 2pm btw). The bagels were really good (like bagels are supposed to be…dense and chewy not bread shaped into o’s) and the ladies behind the counter could both have been nicer! Worth a visit!! We ate some there and took a dozen to-go too!

This is our must-go-to place every time we are in Atlantic Highlands. All of the food, including the bagels and toppings, are always super fresh, flavorful, and reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly, and one can tell how beloved it is in the community because everybody knows everybody’s name. A toasted everything bagel with white fish spread and a cup of cold brew cannot be beat!

Great local bagel shop! Very happy they don't only take cash now! Makes it much easier for people like me who rarely carry cash, and much easier to tip! Love their scallion cream cheese!!!

Best bagel shop in the area! The bagels are fresh and delicious, with plenty of options for fillings. The staff is incredibly friendly and quick! A must!

Nasty phone service and can not get a simple sandwich correct. Person taking phone order has zero customer service skills. Place was empty. If they were busy I would give them a pass. Will not ever go to ABC bagels again.

Ok, stopped in here quick after being on the hook. What a mistake, the woman who took our order rushed us and almost didn’t take our whole order. Then after ordering 8 bagel sandwiches and spending $75 we were TOLD, you gotta be outta here by 12 when we close. Now, I would understand if we were loitering, but I had not even finished my sandwich and it was not 12 yet. Just horrible experience, gotta be honest.
