Carton Brewing

We’ve been coming to Carton Brewing since they first opened their doors, and it’s become one of our favorite places to spend time, now with our family, too. They’re always putting out new beers to try, and we never leave without grabbing a few to take home. The people here are genuinely great to chat with; Dave especially made us feel completely at home. We just love it here!

Visited because a friend of mine works here - it was a great way to cap off a short trip to New York and surrounding. Great beer, great people, amazing community. Wish I could have taken some back with me to Texas!

I photographed an event at one willow and I did a google search on breweries near me and Carton popped up. I was so happy because I bought the best beer I have had in a long time. The triple ipa is unbelievable and the guy that was working there helped me pick out some great beers. I highly recommend!

I've been buying Carton beers for SO LONG and finally made it to the brewery. Super cute!

There's a storefront downstairs for merch and takeout, the tasting room is upstairs. Very cozy, soft lighting, lots of comfy chairs and couches. Bartenders were great, super friendly & knowledgeable.

used to be able to recommend this place to anyone and everyone. now the manager is seemingly trying to ruin the place. hearing some bad rumors that the city of Highlands and the state of New Jersey court system needs to address in court. the manager Dave is entirely at fault and my family and I have all decided WE ARE NEVER COMING BACK. YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DID AND YOU KNOW ITS ILLEGAL.

Love Carton! I come here often for the Yoga on Tap class. The beer is delicious. Lots of fun seasonals in the rotation, and some great year-round options. Highly recommend The Hook! It’s a cool space, friendly people, lots of board games and seating. Great location too.

I’ve had a few Carton beers over the years from a few beer stores all over NJ so when I knew we were going to nearby Red Bank for a show, we had to stop in and check Carton out. Our experience was great, we followed the signs for the tap room upstairs and were promptly greeted. We enjoyed a flight to share and two other pours before we had to go due to time constraints. The whole area was warm and cozy with comfy seating options and warm lighting. A huge beer menu left us with wanting to try more but that’ll wait until our next visit. The staff was friendly and willing to give other recommendations for our visit to the area. The retail space on the first floor was large with a lot of their beer options to go. We left with several 4pks to enjoy and share with our friends at home and we will definitely be back when we find ourselves near the Atlantic Highlands!
