The Salmon ChuChee and Khao Soi are our favorite dishes! ? The Salmon ChuChee has a savory and rich sauce that is ✨ incredible! We also enjoy their curry puffs.

The ambiance is warm and cozy inside with both booths and tables. Decor includes plants and small fountains, red walls. The outside patio is open in the warmer months, and is pretty private surrounded by plants. The outdoor music is fun and just the right volume. The menu is large and offers both standard Thai dishes and chef specials. There are some food photos on the menu. You can request spice levels. BYO beer & wine. There is a liquor store 2 blocks away. We really like the soups, fresh rolls, curry dishes, and salmon. The chicken kra praw is delicious if you are looking for a lighter dish. The basil eggplant is a tasty vegetarian dish, sometimes we add chicken to it. The shrimp dishes have good-size shrimp and are fresh tasting. It's crowded especially on weekends so grab a reservation. The service has always been good, with food arriving on time.

Great atmosphere, speedy service. Kunya is a sweetheart and serves out table herself. We came in for a Tuesday lunch and were the only ones seated. The food was fresh, and delicious, I can tell it was made with care. We had the fried beef appetizer, the honey ribs with Thai Mali white rice, the shrimp roll appetizers, and a thai fried rice with chicken to share. The beef was snacky and delicious with the sauce, the shrimp rolls were crunchy and also delicious with the plum sauce. The ribs were the fav, tender and not too sweet. The rice had fresh ingredients and huge chucks of chicken. My sis got a Thai tea and couldn’t stop raving saying it was so delicious, but at first glance looked too creamy. We will for surely be coming back. We usually like Muang Thai in Red bank or Siam, but Kunya is our new favorite place. Keep up the great work!

I had the Shrimp Pad Thai. Shrimp were overcooked and too too much red curry sauce, which I have never seen in this dish before. Peanuts were stale. Very disappointed.

Great Thai food. Some of the best in NJ. Curry meals are perfect. Can't find better in Monmouth County

Overall the food was very good, but still not as good as my favorite local Thai spot. The Pad Thai had a strange taste to it but the red Thai curry was tasty!

Authentic Thai Gem in Atlantic highland! My husband and I love to spend time in Sandy Hook watching the sun sets. After we would head over to Kunya for dinner then across the stress for the best ice cream store, Nicholas Creamery! Our go to the last 6 times has been their coffee duck, green curry & Crab fried rice! This past weekend, I brought my New York City Girlfriends and we tried the papaya salad and their grilled chicken. Needless to say, they were impressed and our hearts were full

Best Thai restaurant on the Bayshore. Been coming here for years. Cozy atmosphere. Excellent food and service, but take note: the prices at this restaurant have risen considerably after the pandemic and increased clientele. A simpler dish like Pad Thai now costs well over $20 which seems to be outpacing inflation (?!?) We go every few months and the prices have increased noticeably each time. Minus one star overall for this. Also, check your bill to ensure prices on menu align with the price listed on the menu. We have observed errors on more than one occasion. Portion sizes are decent, but not large, and seem to be decreasing as well. You may have leftovers if you decide to order an appetizer or two and/or save room for dessert, both are very good. Parking not so great, but this is due to the location. Give them a try if you don’t mind paying a little more for better food and service and atmosphere.

We ordered take out and I couldn’t believe how delicious everything was! The best I’ve ever had! The grilled steak was tender and delicious, the pad see ew with chicken was tasty and the noodles were perfect, and the red curry chicken was sublime. The chicken was tender and the curry sauce was amazing! I’d give it more than 5 stars if I could. Thank you Kunya Siam!!!Vegetarian options: You can substitute most meats with tofu upon request. You can request vegetarian pad Thai. It’s very good. As is the red Curry Tofu!

We are so thrilled that Kunya Siam hosted our big group as part of our wedding celebration! We really appreciated that they communicated their policies for large parties upfront and that they proactively called to confirm our reservation the day before our event. Although we were disappointed that we couldn’t enjoy the lovely garden due to the weather, we were grateful that they could accommodate us inside instead! Our guests (including several vegetarians) loved the food and cozy indoor ambiance. We made wonderful memories here!
