The people running the place are very nice, but the food is just not good. Honestly, it's terrible. And now, it's comically expensive. They raised prices and dropped the quality. Why pay more for less?

I come here every Sunday with my mom after church and it’s always a pleasure but today I felt upset because our waitress was so rude and disrespectful. I let things like that pass but NOT when it’s against my mom. Discrimination is the last thing I can handle!!!I asked for a different waitress her name is Sam. She made my mom feel better and she enjoyed her delicious meal!!!

Had a bad experience two times in a row with this place. A couple months ago we went there and the place was not even busy and it took us 45 minutes to get our food. Tonight we went and it was definitely busy, but my food came out first, then 5 minutes later my wife's food came out and wasn't cooked right, and then 15 minutes later my son's food came out. Me and my wife waited for my son's food to come out so naturally our food was cold by the time we got to eat it. The waitress was super nice and apologetic and it honestly wasn't her fault. Whoever works in the kitchen should be retrained or fired.

Food was good atmosphere was nice. Only issue i had was the waitress brought us boxes to go. However i was sitting there for like 10m waiting for her to deliver the check. Not sure if she thought she had given one or just forgot about us. She was nice when i delt with her and overall was a pleasant experience.

Easy 5 stars. I live in the area and have been a few times over the years. If you're looking for a great Jersey diner, this is it. I was most recently here on a Saturday night around 6:30. Was seated right away. Our waitress was super friendly, warm and welcoming. She told us the kitchen was a little backed up and there might be a wait for our food but it only took about twenty minutes. My son ordered the Mac and cheese from the kids menu and loved it, and I appreciated that it was real Mac and cheese and not just from a box like we've found in other restaurants. I got the patty melt, and I can easily say this was the greatest patty melt I've ever had in my life. Perfectly cooked, juicy, tender, swimming in perfectly melted and gloopy mushrooms, onions, and Swiss cheese. There is nothing quite like hearty diner comfort food that just touches the soul. BYOB and can provide wine glasses if you bring a bottle of wine. Not open 24 hours, but at least open until midnight if you need a a late night fix. This place is warm, inviting, filled with friendly staff and customers, like stepping into a slice of Americana.

A very good diner. The omelets are really good and the waitresses are friendly, except one particular waitress with short hair, who always has an unpleasant look on her face. The owners Stacy and her husband are a nice Greek couple. Whenever I get my truck fixed at the mechanic shop down the street from this place, I make it a point to go to Legacy.
