Our first time here after hearing good things about this place. Everyone really enjoyed their meal. The disco fries are awesome and the Beers are solid. Excellent and friendly servers all around. Nice atmosphere. Great place to visit at the shore.

Absolutely fantastic experience at the Avalon Brew Pub. From the moment we walked in we were greeted warmly by the hostess, Erin. We were seated right away and the service throughout the evening was just as impressive. Our server was attentive and the food delicious! Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this place is a must-visit! We’ll definitely be back!

We visited last week with my family I got the chicken sandwich it’s absolutely to die for!!! Mussels are fantastic cheesecake goblet and cookie is mouth watering definitely a shareable dessert. My kids got the Mac and cheese it’s home made not some Kraft crap so delicious my husband got the mahi mahi tacos he really enjoyed it. Our server jade was great definitely worth the visit if you’re in town. We will definitely be back!

Good location if you are staying at the Icona. Menu is strong as are the beer offerings. They like to "blacken" everything, which outside of the Gulf Coast is usually due to old or poor tasting meat. This is NJ - they need to get away from that. Mahi tacos had good set up, but were overpowered by the sauce. the sauce was good, but it hid the taste of the fish. Again, calls into question the quality of the meat or the chef's ability to cook. There was a screw up at the check in where the hostess "forgot" we were standing there waiting for the only empty table in the restaurant. Since we were the only ones waiting, this was highly curious and certainly didn't start the night off on the right foot.

this place is like if McKinsey consultants used AI to create a “brew pub”. It reeks of corporate insincerity. Cannot believe this place has so many reviews; I suspect they are paid. Our waitress was dead in the eyes and no one seemed to care. Food was lackluster, no local seafood, just mahi mahi, sooooo Jersey Shore. You can tell this place is owned by PE.

Unfortunately, we will not be back. We had a party of six. Table was dirty with food stuck in all the crevices. The food was unfortunately subpar at best.

Very understaffed. We waited 40 minutes for a table when half the restaurant was open they just didn't have anyone to clean off the tables. Had 0 beers on draft, you're a brew pub how is that even possible? The food was mediocre at best, chicken was overcooked, dry, and super tough. Our server Rocco who was also bartending was hustling and doing his best, but we will not be back.
We vacation in Avalon every year and we’re excited to give this spot a go this year… The chairs are so comfortable and our food was tasty, but honestly the staff didn’t acknowledge 2 things we ordered and so many flies were around us inside while we tried to eat that it really took us out of it.

Ordered a gin and tonic in a tall glass and was charged an extra $3.00. Prices are already extremely high and think it's absolutely ridiculous that after the amount of money we spent they charge for a large glass. It was 1 shot of alcohol only.

Food was totally hit or miss. Some ok, some not. Nothing great. Service was the real downfall. Just really miserable staff working there from the hostess to the waitstaff. And miserable translated into sullen, angry, etc. Just gave off a really unpleasant vibe for a dinner visit. Given that the food was so-so, we wouldn't go back.

Quality of food was poor. The dining room looks like they just decided to throw some chairs and tables in a room on a whim. We had a table of 6. One persons meal didn't get served when the other 5 were. They then decided to bring the 6th meal out at the end. The waiter did a good job. They just can't get things running smoothly.
