Good location if you are staying at the Icona. Menu is strong as are the beer offerings. They like to "blacken" everything, which outside of the Gulf Coast is usually due to old or poor tasting meat. This is NJ - they need to get away from that. Mahi tacos had good set up, but were overpowered by the sauce. the sauce was good, but it hid the taste of the fish. Again, calls into question the quality of the meat or the chef's ability to cook. There was a screw up...
We were happy with our meals. The fish tacos were very good and a nice portion. Same with the burger. We have been here before and it will stay as one of the places we will visit on our vacations in Avalon.
We enjoyed our meal ( turkey Reubens) as they were good as always. The staff was accommodating in our request to be seated in Sue's section as we always appreciate her attentive service. Glad we had reservations as it was packed even early in the season!
