I recently did a gathering with Capt Chucky’s doing my main courses. The food was met with rave reviews and Antoinette and Jojo were second to none in helping me plan the menu, preparing it and having it ready in a timely fashion.Avalon is fortunate to have this lovely little gem!
Wow.. really good crab cakes and cocktail shrimp. Easily the best cocktail shrimp I have ever had, which is weird. You would think they all taste the same, but these really stood out. They were succulent and sweet. We got the Smith Island crab cakes. Everyone loved everything. The coleslaw was really good, too. Don’t forget to get some tartar sauce for the crab cakes.
I was visiting friends in Avalon and wanted to provide a dinner to thank them for their hospitality. Capt Chucky's was recommended. I am not a seafood connoisseur, so I was in need of help. A young lady from behind the counter, Isabelle, was kind, friendly and eager to help me chose the perfect dinner for our hosts. Five stars for great customer service !!!
