Sat at the bar - female bartender provided excellent service! Soup & clams were great!
Smallest Margarita in the WORLD!! 3 SIPS at most!
Brother-in-law ordered chicken wings cooked “well done” - not only were they not well done but they were UNDERCOOKED!! After his verbal feedback the wings were made again and they were again UNDERCOOKED!
My wife and I have been coming to the shore from Wisconsin since 1986 and have eaten numerous times there. We have a tradition of having Pina Coladas, but not going to happen ever again!

Way too loud. I sat for 5 to 10 minutes at the bar and not one bartender came over to give me service. Others were coming up and getting served right away. Go to Keenan’s in North Wildwood to see the Soul Cruisers if you like them. Couldn’t hear anything at the lousy Windrift

You can't beat the beach. But you can improve on the food.

The biggest issue I have is they won’t take reservations which is difficult with teens under 21 because they can sit and wait at the bar. Charge a reservation cancellation fee and take reservations, please.

Very disappointing food here. I got fish tacos and they had a strong ammonia smell and were too chewy for comfort

No more Lobster Grilled Cheese! Bring it back drove an hour and half for the famous grilled cheese. Take it off the website if you’re not going to offer it anymore!

If Michelangelo painted the Sistine Chapel of bar backs, it would be Erik at the Wind Drift.

This man wasn’t just a bar back—he was a hydration ninja, a glassware whisperer, a human blur of ice buckets and perfectly stacked lime wedges. I watched in awe as he refilled garnishes with the precision of a neurosurgeon and restocked beer faster than I could finish one (which is saying a lot).

He moved like he had Red Bull for blood and a sixth sense for when a bartender was about to scream, “WE’RE OUT OF TEQUILA!” Tragedy averted. Erik was already there, bottle in hand, probably with a joke too. And let me tell you, if bar backs could be rated like wines, Erik is a full-bodied 2010 vintage with notes of hustle and a finish of pure legend.

Wind Drift better have him on a lifetime contract—or at least name a signature cocktail after him. May I suggest: The Erik Explosion—served fast, strong, and always ready when you need it most.

10/10. Would let him restock my night anytime.

Want it even more ridiculous or with inside jokes?

I usually sit outside on the beach view deck and get a beer and an appetizer... Don't like the inside of this restaurant which also has a beach view. It feels like a cafeteria.
Prior to Icona's ownership my favorite sandwich the Turkey Club was a family favorite...this is no longer on the menu. So the rest of the menu is 'meh'..and over priced
The staff is attentive..go for the view not the food.

Parking: During beach hours in season parking can be tight

Wheelchair accessibility: The deck is on the second floor...I am unaware of elevator access. There is a ground level area...but not sure of the hours. The lower level location does not have a water view. The dunes create an obstruction.

Not like the old Windrift. Third deck has very limited hours which is disappointing.

Parking: Once the beach clears out, parking is easier.

God awful food at nyc prices. Trying to sneak in a 2.5% surcharge for using a cc is a dirtball move considering no mention is made prior to being seated

I’ve never seen wasabi this color before, I’m super curious where you sourced such a wasabi from. Is it local?

And not even bothering to use sushi rice when you charge 15 bucks for a roll makes me suspect you think your guests are stupid or don’t know any better. Acme sells a better roll.

Amazing time at the Piano bar, then around the corner is another room with an 8 piece band and large dance floor. Food is very good! Topped the night off with a walk on the beach just steps away.
It is a must visit when in Stone Harbor/Avalon N.J.
