The food was fantastic, the flavors were amazing in their specialty pizza and the eggplant parm dinner I got. Very high quality food and the service was exceptional, they were kind and attentive. My only wish was if parking were easy since it was my first time visiting and it wasn't easy given the location.

I ordered a cheese pie, 6 wings, and 2 salads and the experience was really mixed.
0 The cheese pie was seriously disappointing. The cheese tasted and looked like they really cheaped out on it, which is a shame because the pizza sauce was actually very good. The pie also tasted like it had been sitting around for a while, and the cheese was a bit rubbery. A cheese pizza should have that amazing cheese pull, but this had the complete opposite like no stretch at all, just a stiff, lifeless layer that made the whole thing sad.
Wings: 9/10 The wings were the best thing we had, super flavorful and cooked really well. A bit salty, but nothing worth complaining about. I’d definitely order these again.
Salads: 7/10 The salads were fine. Fresh enough, nothing special, but nothing bad either.
Overall, great wings, decent salads, but the cheese pizza really missed the mark.

Jersey Boys Pizza is located on Avenel Street near the train station in Avenel, New Jersey. The exterior belies the interior, as this is a significantly renovated old-school working class bar, which now features pizza along with a new marble-topped bar. I must say the pizza quality was less than expected. Some good reviews have been posted here, and by a nationally known pizza rater, but I will disagree. I found the sauce slightly bitter, the crust too chewy and far too salty. Plenty of cheese, but somewhat bland. The bar had 3 flat-screens with sports, but the lights were so bright that, with proper tools and requisite skills, I could have performed microsurgey on a willing and fellow patron. On the positive side, the service was prompt and friendly from all 3 ladies working up front. As a pizza place though, I was underwhelmed, yet enjoyed a comfortable atmosphere for my stay.

This place has gone downhill.
Ordered a 12' Pepperoni pizza and it was delivered cold and stale. Pizza didn't have much cheese, sauce or Pepperoni. But the worst part was that it was COLD.
Have Ordered in the past and it was great.
Cannot recommend at this point as it's a waste of money imo.

Had Caesar wrap and wings. Both were great. Great service as well. Girlfriend is gluten free. She had a cheese pizza and Caesar salad (w/o croutons). Gluten free pizza was better than most pizzas I’ve had with gluten.
