I mean, definitely deserves closer to a 9. Portnoy gave this place an 8.1 which is why my family and I made a pit stop on the way back from the Yankees game… but the sweeter sauce, crazy amazing crisp, and killer taste makes me think it’s way closer to a 9. Maybe Dave was full at the time :)

The service was awesome and the atmosphere perfect for a family meal.

First time ordering from Jersey Pizza Boys and overall it was a decent experience. I got the margherita pizza, but it was a little too dry for my taste. However, the big champ pizza and wings were great & solid options, definitely worth ordering again 🍕. I left specific instructions for the order to be left at the front door (no contact delivery), but the delivery guy called to say my doorbell was “apparently” broken and no one was home. Ok Portnoy has their classic cheese as an 8.1 but the family was divided on this and even then topping out at a 7.1 Not to worry, its just opinions and tastes right? As first timers we didnt know the sauce was minimal, and nothing quite stood out as we are accustomed to with Portnoy’s mid 7’s to mid 8’s.

Oh but the detroit style needs its own paragraph. That vaults up to the mid to high 8’s. Tons of cheesy goodness with lots of pull and those caramelized...
