They lied and said my sub was already made and couldn't toast it, which was a lie because I asked my dasher if he had to wait. The bread was hard I could knock on it. I couldn't taste no salt or pepper. DONT RECOMMEND

Usually my go to for subs! Delicious generous portion. Don't order a sloppy joe from them they don't know what one isâŠ. A sloppy joe doesnât go on a sub roll!!! It goes on rye bread! owner not very professional or friendly.

Probably the most blatantly manipulative solicitation for tips that I've ever encountered. They make you reach across the counter to tap your tip amount, making it feel very uncomfortable to select a custom amount. The lowest tip amount is 15% I'm sorry if I spend $20 in your shop, I don't wamt to give your staff a $3 tip (at minimum) every time. Some people like myself cannot afford to do this every visit and it's obnoxious to put people in that situation. A lot of places do this now, but the way these people do it very slimy. How about paying your staff more and stop asking your customers to tip them. I might as well ask you to deliver it and actually provide me with a tipable service if I'm going to be asked to come out of pocket like this.

I tried this place for the first time and was really impressed. The atmosphere was cozy, and the service felt genuine. Great food, friendly service, and a nice vibe. Everything tasted fresh, and I left full and happy. Canât wait to visit again

If the roast beef is red enough, I go with that. If not, they do a very nice cheese steak, but they don't have any mushrooms to put on the cheese steak though. There is plenty of seating eat in. I usually go there twice a month.

Far cry from the Subworks days...Chicken Cutlet wrapped in prosciutto with fresh mozzarella, lettuce, banana peppers and lettuce apparently means dried out chicken fingers, grocery storee mozz, hold the proscuitto, hold the lettuce. I'll give you the fact that I showed up 45 minutes before closing, but service has been bad as of late regardless. I'd say do better, but this was my last visit.

Subs & Co. has officially ruined every other BLT for meâin the best way possible. I just had the sexiest, most mouthwatering BLT Iâve ever tasted. Texas Toast, thick-cut bacon cooked to perfection, fresh lettuce and tomatoâitâs pure sandwich art. Every bite was heaven. And honestly, theyâve never let me down. Whether itâs a BLT, an Italian, or any of their subs, everything here is top-notch. Flavor, quality, consistencyâthese guys nail it every time. If youâre a sandwich lover, this is your spot. Only other feedback I have is that the guy taking my order wasnât so customer friendly. Seemed annoyed or grumpy. He said to me âwhat do you wantâ. But it wouldnât stop me from going back or recommending this place. We all have our moments in this crazy world. Itâs all good b
Just had a st fe salad which was delicious and plenty of it. But the high light was #12 sub works sub with everything,the sub was packed to the hilt with meat and everything else. For that price it was well worth it , I highly recommend it , donât forget the mayo. Been to a lot of sub places in avenel but this place is #1 out of all them. Try them out at least once and you will be back.
