Ordered a sub after my workout.. The lettuce was browning and had a refrigerator taste.. And the bread was almost stale.. I was shocked… meat was not fresh.. Place needs to step it up.. I’m feeling a lil sick.. shame on subway of avenal..

I came in on Saturday for a quick meal and was completely satisfied with everything. The girl working there was attentive to my requests and made the sandwich just how I wanted. The atmosphere was clean and the chips were stocked and also had a good variety of drinks to choose from. Will definitely be going back, and hopefully be seeing the same girl working there again!

I had a great experience at the Subway I visited on Tuesday morning. The store was spotless and well-maintained, with a welcoming ambiance that made my visit even more enjoyable. I tried the new sandwich, number 22, along with the Double Cheese Dipper, and both were delicious! The staff were friendly and efficient, ensuring that my order was made exactly to my liking. A common theme that seems to be occurring is that coupons don't work because scanner doesn't work for some reason. I have personally experienced it twice and I see others in comments also experienced it. How is it that the scanner is still missing?? Fix your stuff guys what is this seriously? Why is it that every time your scanner seems to be broken. Also the sandwich lacks proper filling. Even for regular. You guys need to work on portions properly and serve depending on the price properly. I will make sure neither I nor my friends come here ever again

Placed an online order for pickup at this location. When I arrived 5 minutes early, the sandwiches seemed like it was made 20-25 mins ago and weren't toasted. I asked the manager to cancel and make new ones, but he refused, saying cancellations aren't allowed and told me to email customer service. When I suggested toasting the same footlongs and adding fresh veggies, he said no because then they will be low on veggies. Luckily, a helpful staff member, the footlongs were eventually toasted and filled with fresh veggies. It took 35 minutes of arguing. "DO NOT EVER PLACE AN ONLINE PICK UP ORDER AT THIS LOCATION." Manager/owner doesn't know how to run the store and doesn't know what to do if customers are not satisfied.

The lady was kind but I asked for a build your own turkey footlong and she gave me the #15 Turkey Titan sub (way more meat than I care and asked for; not to mention higher price). NOT coming back.
