Let me preface this with my family LOVES Macaroon Shop cakes. Every special occasion we happily place a cake order. Last week I placed an order for a 1/4 sheet cake with lemon buttercream and fresh strawberry fillings. Order was placed on the phone, reread for accuracy and that was it. No mention of price. No worries though, as I stated before - we've placed orders before. Caught me by surprise when I arrived to pick up the cake and the total came to $92! Credit card surcharge included. Call a few days later to find out the cake itself was $64. Leaving the fresh strawberry filling at almost $30. The lady who rung me up must have caught the surprise look on my face.

Went here for the first time sunday. Never again. My child has peanut allergies. I asked for 2 brownies with no nuts. Paid and went home. Daughter took a bite and throat closed almost immediately. Thank God for epi pen. Tasted brownie. Had peanut butter mixed in Display case showed 3 trays that were labeled no nuts, nuts and peanut butter. I watched her take them from the no nuts tray. If they cannot pay attention to which tray they use they should not pay better attention. They could have killed my child.

The old-school macaroons are great (I did not try the French style). The crumb cake and the rugelach were MEH.

I ordered a quarter sheet cake for a party. They did not have ready and whoever took the order did not put correct pick up time. So I had to leave and come back an hour later. I was told when ordering they may not be able to fit the the writing. So I said no writing. I rushed back an hour later and picked up cake when I got to party it said happy birthdayGemma. Who is Gemma? I was so embarrassed.

Excellent ! The Macaroon Shop is the BEST! The hamburger cake is my favorite but everything is great ! The owner is wonderful as is the entire staff ! So happy to be so close to this gem 🎂

I love this bakery, but they changed the carrot cake. They aren't using cream cheese icing, I think it's vanilla cream, Macaroons are great!

We had a baby shower yesterday and ordered a cake from here and it was beyond incredible! Not only was it beautifully designed to match our baby shower theme, but the flavor and texture were absolutely perfect. Several of our guests commented that it was the best cake they’ve ever had, and we couldn’t agree more! It was moist, flavorful, and truly melted in your mouth.
Thank you, Macaroon Shop, for making our celebration so special. We’ll definitely be ordering from you again for future events!

Really like that they have that GLUTEN FREE French macaroon option 10/10 delicious! SEED OILS I suspect, the woman I asked one evening said to me that “the baker isn’t here and I’m not going back there to figure it out” PLEASE tell me I’m wrong! Coconut oil for the WIN:)
