Unsanitary! They let pets in and climb over their baked goods!I just stopped in on Saturday, March 30, 2024 around 12:30pm to get a cake and some other things. I walked in and a customer ( a bald man probably around 45 years old and his daughter about 11 years old). had a dog (obviously not a service animal) the dog was crawling all over the prepackaged baked goods.Sorry, I love dogs, but not when they have been crawling all over my food!

I rarely write reviews because it’s such a petty thing to do, but they deserve it this time. Put an order in for a custom cake over the weekend for my dad’s birthday on Monday (he gets the same cake every year because he’s not a huge dessert person). Cake was confirmed for pick up at or after 1:00 today (Monday). At 11:00 they just called me and said they won’t be able to make the custom cake that I was supposed to be picking up in two hours until tomorrow at the earliest.

After many days of riding my bike past The Macaroon Shop, I finally stopped in to take a look around. So many delicious treats, but best of all were the macaroons (of course!). A friendly staff member even offered me a couple of free macaroons since it was my first time in the shop. They were spectacular! I came back later that day and bought the traditional macaroons as well as some milk chocolate covered ones. I even stored the extra macaroons in my freezer to be enjoyed later, so buy extra. If you like chocolate and coconut, go there NOW!
Me and my friend are gluten free and they were so accommodating and sweet. Every time we visit the beach we come down to this shop! ??

The Macaroon Shop never ceases to amaze me with its wide array of yummy treats. This particular trip was in celebration of my daughter's birthday, and everyone in the car got to pick out their own special treat. My daughter got a peanut butter brownie, my son got a cannoli, and I bought a half pound of chocolate covered macarooms for myself...I promised myself that I wouldn't eat it all at once, and I was close, but I did share a few with others who came to the celebration. I wish I could rate higher than 5 stars!! This was my first time ordering a cake from here and will certainly not be my last. I placed an order to have a custom cake made for my boyfriend's birthday and The Macaroon Shop knocked it out of the park!! I asked for a cake with tunas on it because he is an avid deep-sea fisherman, the designers even added little sea creatures to go along with the theme. Sometimes, with decorative cakes, the flavor is off or the cake is dry- but that was not the case. Super moist, fluffy cake, and delicious frosting. Plus, the pricing is very fair. Going forward, I will order baked goods from here for all events!Thank you so much!!
