This store sells good sandwiches, however the entire place needs a good going over. There is a ridiculous amount of wasted space which could be used to stock better options. There is a North End folks don’t mind spending, fill those shelves with goodies. If this shop and Agnello’s did a better job with their merchandising, I’d never go to Neptune. I don’t know why they aren’t taking full advantage of their space.

Ordered a 14 inch Italian sub. My girlfriend got an 8 inch sub. They’re about half an inch in difference. Waste of money and my time. Don’t bother lol. Rip whites at least they didn’t lie about the size of their sandwiches.

The cashier was lovely, sweet, friendly and helpful. The food was good. The owner was really awful. I have a medical condition which causes me to have frequent uti's and no ability to " hold it" I was fishing with my boyfriend and had to go. I told him I was going to walk to the bathroom at the lighthouse. He asked me to get him a breakfast sandwich and I figured I could go to the deli get breakfast and per. I walked in placed my orders (so they knew I was a customer). I asked for a restroom and was told no. I was told I had to walk over to the lighthouse. At this point I was waiting for breakfast sandwiches to cook and couldn't just leave but it was getting urgent. As I grabbed a few drinks ( for later!) And a coffee for him I was quite obviously doing the dance. I asked the cashier if there was anyplace closer as I didn't think I was going to make it. She told me I could use their restroom. I walked back and the owner blocked the door. I said.the cashier said I could. She said " I'm the owner and I say no" I said "please I have a UTI" She said no again. I paid and had to walk over to the restroom which became a very painful and embarrassing situation. I could understand if I just popped in and expected to use the facility. I was a paying customer with an emergency and she wasn't able to show me compassion. or basic humanity I literally left in tears of humiliation and pain. I do appreciate the kindness and compasion of the cashier. I wish she was the owner.

Great local deli in the heart of a vacation area…coffee cake is fantastic and they’re one of the few delis around that still sell bologna.

A bit pricy, but there aren't many options nearby. Decent food. Good coffee.

Mediocre deli at best. They have a captive audience, and their bread is not the best. On this visit, they got the order wrong. I am looking forward to trying their breakfast menu.
Go to deli! Best sandwiches and Kathy is the friendliest nicest person who welcomes everyone who comes in.
Counter person was rude...
I got a delicious ham, egg, & cheese sandwich on my way to Barnegat Lighthouse. Had some quirky drinks too.
