We ordered the gem salad, pepperoni pizza, chicken picatta, and the angry rigatoni (one of their specials). All of the dishes, besides the pizza, were absolutely incredible- the chicken picatta was served with broccoli rabe in a delicious white wine sauce, it was perfectly cooked. The angry rigatoni with crumbled sausage was one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had, the sauce was so unique and delectable. Knocking one star off the review just because the pizza wasn't good (which was a disappointment given that the pizza is the highlight of going), the dessert selection was extremely limited (only Gelato & sorbet), and the restaurant was extremely loud. But I wouldn't let any of that deter you- I would absolutely go back. Great wine selection as well. What made the experience the most special was our server Ally who provided exceptional service to us.

We've been to La Riva many times and it never fails to impress. The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere are consistently on point. It's one of our favorite spots on LBI - highly recommended!
Delicious. Don’t listen to the bad reviews, definitely not reflective of my experience. Red sauce is unbelievably good. Drinks were great. Would go back again.

We loved the pizza at La Riva! We ordered the sausage pizza and it was so fresh, you could really taste the fennel seeds.
We ordered several other items, see photos.
They have a wheel chair ramp on the left side of the building and there’s also handicapped parking on the left side.
There are a few single bathrooms and there was one the right that was wheel chair accessible.
I ordered a Daiquiri and it was really good.
I thought the restaurant had a really good vibe, was clean and looked new (I was told it was about 5 yrs old?). The restaurant is very well kept.
Would definitely recommend. The waitstaff were friendly and frequently asked if we needed anything.
We got there early at 5:30pm, and it started to get very busy once we were finished. There is a nice bar area that has several bar stools.

Terrible Food and Worse Service. Ordered Togo and was given an incorrect order. Called to get it remade and manager was nasty and gave a terrible excuse. Apparently they don’t give mozzarella cheese on Togo orders (Baked Rigatoni?????) even if the recipe calls for it 😐. Now I understand why the reviews are as bad as they are. If you own this restaurant fire your manager (from 7/10/25) asap before she runs you out of business.

Super crazy expensive for what you get. Food was tasty but so overpriced! I don’t usually leave negative reviews but I wanted to warn people before they go. I’m not from the immediate area and took a day trip and we wanted to eat pizza so we picked this place. The atmosphere was nice and the service was pretty good. I’m just not used to being charged $4.00 for a super small glass (like 6 ounces) of ice tea with NO refills. To me that crosses the line because there is no reason to gouge customers. I was very surprised to see that we were charged for each refill when they give you such a small beverage. Pizza was tasty (thin brick oven type) but $24 for a kids size personal cheese pizza is a little overpriced in my opinion. We also ordered a plain white pizza with oil and garlic and got banged for another $2 for garlic. I understand it’s a business but there is just no reason to beat up customers. I just wanted to post so other people from out of the area could be well informed.
La Riva Pizza is legit one of my favorite spots. The fish is surprisingly fire, and the pizza? I’ve tried every single one and they all slap. Pretty much everything on the menu hits—it’s all fresh and super well made. The owner and workers are always really nice, and the service is quick. Plus, the spot is in a great location—right by ice cream, mini golf, and the lighthouse. Perfect after a beach day. Definitely recommend.

Came to visit long branch for first time. Came to resteraunt Saturday night and got the most delicious pizza, penne vodka and Greek salad. The food came out so fast and the workers were all so pleasant and nice! Came back the next day with my family and got pizza, fries and delicious wrap! This is NOT a typical pizza store it’s a delicious dairy restaurant !!! Thank you!
