I took my family out for dinner and it seemed like we were served lukewarm leftovers. A few years back, Doyle’s had quality control issues and so I stopped bringing my family there. We tried it again about a year ago and seemed back to normal. Today was a different story and we will NEVER go back again. If I was the server, I would not have served the food that we ordered. I should have known something was up when my soup came and it was cold, broken, and runny. We ordered a bunch of appetizers and wings and the food was somehow burnt and cold at the same time. What a disappointment!!!

I had to revise my older google review. Many times in the past I have patronized Doyles Pour House in Barnegat. Always has good food and good service. This evening I had the one person that made an emotional evening better than I could ever have imagined. Sophia was our server to a party of 5. We were commemorating the passing of a close friend. I have seen Sophia in the past hustling but never had the opportunity to be her customer. She was so super attentive and the light of her personality shined through in everything she did. She was enthusiastic, and extremely courteous to our needs. I want to thank her and wish her well. My wife and I hope she continues to serve and hopefully is given the opportunity to train newer servers. Im sure she inspires some of the older servers with enthusiasm and professionalism.

Great local watering hole with good food and reasonable prices the outside bar and the bartender Paige are the absolute best things about going here. She’s super friendly makes great drinks and is super attentive… definitely wish she worked inside more now that the winters here and the outside is closed

Been going to Doyle’s for years, and the one server with curly hair with a pony tail was very passive aggressive. I work in customer service too and I try to be as nice as I can. She was not. They need to bring back their pool tables. I remember people being there until last call. Now people head out around 12 on a Saturday night. It’s sad.
